Good work, when you sprayed the plastics did you rattle can it or use a legit sprayer? I was thinking about throwing on some plasti-dip in a couple areas but unsure if it would stick...

Current: 2011 Honda PCX125 (j.costa vario and j.costa exhaust)
Past: 2008 Honda Met (Dayton drag vario, CDI box, spark plug, kn filter, and a cup holder)

I wasn't planning on doing this mod, but when I found a 2015 headlight for only $1.99
, I couldn't resist...

Re: Dasshreddar's PCX/Ruckus Hybrid
Josh, doesn't his hybrid look frigin' cool? Like as in "toto awesome-ness?" I love it! And those L E Deez!
(Psst....Josh, if you thought his bike was part white,...it's Not. It's really light gray. He says, he would never go white. Ha! Story has it that local markets were fresh outta white. So, Das really settled. No need to make him feel bad about it, and I choose Not to rub it in, so I just keep re-saying,
"How Cool Is That!!" (Get my drift? Praise the Mantis!)
Das Rocks!!!

First of all I like what you have accomplished
The seat bracket-I see all kinds of after market stuff- moly tubing -OK to weld?
did you use the lowering one?
and what seat height did you achieve?

Re: Dasshreddar's PCX/Ruckus Hybrid
Thanks,
I used a stock ruckus seat frame, a lowering one or just tubing would also work, because I only used about half of the seat frame.
Seat height is currently at 28.5 inches(lowest point of the "saddle" with taller tires/stock suspension).
I also carved out some of the plastic seat pan to sit lower/trimmed the rear of the seat edge(the seat does not open and close like a stock ruckus, it is fixed).
If you wanted the seat more forward you could easily go even lower without making major frame(pcx) mods.
I first took the measurements I liked from my gy6/ruckus and went from there...

Wow!!! I'm subscribing to this thread, as this build is amazing! I would not be able to do it, but I enjoy seeing what others are capable of doing to their machines
BTW: $1.99 for a PCX LED headlight is "the bargain of the century"!!!

Wow! Lots of transformations are taking place in this motorbike in the last days... You are really busy!!!!
We will need some pictures from the side of the motorbike, so that we can see the new headlight in its entirety
BTW: Thank goodness that the 2015 headlight cost you only $1.99!!! Now you can sell it and the panels on eBay, and even with the buyer aware that the high beam is MIA you can earn some bucks!
