New Guy from London - new Forza!

Post by DaveNSS »

Hi Guys,

I'm Dave, i've owned my Forza for a week today. Loving it so far. Traded-in a 2014 Honda CB500F for it. I guess i'm more a scooter guy than a m/c guy. Previously rode a 2007 Vespa LX 125, but I now have my full A unrestricted licence. I just didn't need a Silverwing, so the Forza will work for me for now. :D

I fitted the new tall screen last night. I'm liking it so far.

Anyway, hoping to learn, and contribute when I can. Cheers!

Nice bike. Well done on the A licence! Passed my CBT back in Nov but only been on the road three months with my PCX. A long way to go to pass an A2/full linence - if only centres had 350cc scooters to take the test on rather than have to learn gear bikes.

Thanks mate. I hear what you're saying. I did the A licence as A/I'm old (41) and B/I wanted to have choice later in life. I bought the CB500F as I'd learned on a geared bike and enjoyed it, but honestly, I just prefer riding scooters. Simple as that.

Welcome Dave. I too traded in a Honda CB500 for a Forza. So far have been loving the Forza, easy to ride and just can't be the convenience with all the storage capacity.

Cheers mate. Can I ask what made you get rid of your CB500? Which model did you have? X, F or RR?

I had the CB500FA, really nice bike to learn and ride. Unfortunately, a scooter with automatic, highway power and lots of storage fit my needs better. Now with the Forza creeping along in city traffic is ok.

Sorry, Vespa had a bad batch of pumps and many unhappy customers.

Haven't we all had a bad batch of pumps at some time?

As long as there is no follow through...
