I had the GIVI V47 case, but decided to remove it and put a GIVI V46 on instead.
I have been having a problem with CARS coming up way to close to me on the Honda Forza at stop lights. Almost like they don't see me till the last minute.
My Suzuki Burgman 650 has the GIVI V-46 and I don't have this problem when driving the Suzuki Burgman.
Since the Mounts on both bikes are the Monokey mount, I switched cases for a test ride, and like magic, CARS see me and stayed back giving me space. The V46 has the silver rim that runs all around the case and can be seen by cars, where as the V47 is all black on the back.

I found a New GIVI V46 with a RED cover on eBay and bought it. The seller said that the color panel matched a 2008 CanAm Spyder Roadster. This is exactly the same color as the Red Forza, and looks great on the the Forza.

I got the V47 with silver top and silver around the sides. You are right, it does make a difference.

This is the Bestem 929 as it comes in a box.
A row of rear and side LEDS as running lights with the ignition on, a second series of LEDS on that band and a group of LEDS on the lid with the brakes on.
In short... a lot of rear and side facing lights on all the time the scoot is running, and a bunch more when you touch the brakes.
A whole lot more visible than a 'silver band', IMHO.
Price includes the mounting plate, hardware, lights already installed and ready to wire to your scoot's tail and brake lights.
Case holds 2 full face helmets.
Price is @ $125 and the nice padded liner is about $28.
You'll need some electrical wire connectors from Walmart or Radioshack.

My little Kymco got a lot of attention in daylight and night riding with this well lit rear end on my scooter!

Took the forza to work today, perfect trip. Cars stayed back, it was great.
No lights needed.
