Will this windshield fit my PCX?
For that price id try and find a genuine Honda one or at least one specifically designed for the pcx. A few people on here have tried different ones, never felt the need myself though.

That's true....they are close in price

Have a search for ermax screens, that's what most people have gone for.
Re: Will this windshield fit my PCX?
A few of us have Givi screens as well. I think the Ermax may look better, but I have a Givi and I it is a huge improvement over the stock windscreen. I think I paid less than $100 for it from Cli-max including shipping. Here is a link if you want to see what it looks like: http://www.cli-maxridinggear.com/servle ... een/Detail

I am thinking of a windshield for my PCX, but i am not sure?
Has anybody ever brought a screen, then decided that they prefered the original.

Re: Will this windshield fit my PCX?
A potential problem with screens is that they can concentrate the airflow on a smaller area of your head and/or body and can cause unpleasant buffeting.
The only way to find out if a particular screen suits you as an individual is to try it for yourself and see.
Me I'm happy with leaving my PCX completely standard.

Re: Will this windshield fit my PCX?
No it probably won't fit. That windscreen looks to be fitted to the mirrors and assumes that the whole top of the front body rotates with the bars. With the PCX, the dashboard would probably be in the way.
Re: Will this windshield fit my PCX?
I'd second that. I definitely noticed with Givi windscreen that more wind hit my shoulders and helmet. That said, I am much warmer than with the stock screen and I no longer feel like I'm being blasted back in my seat. Overall I'm happy with it and I don't plan to make any further changes to the windscreen.A potential problem with screens is that they can concentrate the airflow on a smaller area of your head and/or body and can cause unpleasant buffeting.

Re: Will this windshield fit my PCX?
I somewhat doubt the original windshield will fit...
I have the tall Givi shield, and I can't live without it. I bought a short Ermax, because I thought it was cool-looking, but switched back. The Ermax looked awesome, but was nowhere near as comfy as my tall Givi.
Pony - I don't think anyone has ever tried any windshield and went back to stock. Even the short Ermax was way better than stock, in my opinion.

Dave- did you return the ermax? I think I want one. I've never owned a bike with a windscreen.. So I'm thinking I might like it better than nothing having not tried the givi

No, shipping cost almost as much as the windshield did, so I held onto it. Want to buy it?

Re: Will this windshield fit my PCX?
Hmmmm.... Maybe I would! you can ship it for free yes?
But seriously... I'd rather take one off your hands then buy a new one and let yours sit in a corner somewhere =]
Money is a little tight, but I've been working some overtime... so I could justify the purchase =]
I'll send you a PM
Thanks!

If you do get a screen, tell me what you think?
I am still undecided, dont want to spend the money then regret it.

You got it pony!
This is my first time trying an aftermarket windshield, so I'm very curious myself. I will probably instal it the day it arrives. Which will be soon! Thanks Maddiedog!

Re: Will this windshield fit my PCX?
I had a brand new pcx as a loaner while mine was in for service not long ago. I've got the Honda tall screen - the loaner didn't, the result was a face full of flies and wind blast - I'd hate to ride in the rain without my screen. I would def' recommend the Honda one (listed under the accessories bit on the Honda website), while you're at it, get some heated grips fitted as well makes all the difference.pony wrote:.....

OK been searching the web, now I know Givi do a screen, but where the heck can you buy one from?? Been searching via google and the only ones I found to buy were in Germany?!
Can't afford Honda's offerings, must admit it does look ok though!

You can get them from any Givi dealer.

Many thanks for that, ordered the screen now, certainly a darn sight cheaper than Honda's offerings!!gn2 wrote:You can get them from any Givi dealer.

Yep, the Givi rack and topbox are massively cheaper than Honda's offerings too.
