Forza 1 year Anniversary
Just passed year one with the Forza 300 ABS.
Some stats:
Put 7600 miles on the odometer.
Majority of mileage spent riding between 65-70mph.
Most miles ridden in 1 day - 45.
All fuel ups have been at the same gas station - same pump.
First and only service at 800 miles - no valve check.
Changed rear tire at 5400 miles.
Haven't made any mods yet.
Washed it only once - today.

Re: Forza 1 year Anniversary
you should probably change the oil
nice work though 7600 miles in a year

Re: Forza 1 year Anniversary
Next oil change is due when the oil change light comes on at 8800 miles - or 12 months after the last change.

Re: Forza 1 year Anniversary
First valve clearance check not due till 16,000 miles at which time you'll need a new belt as well.
Mine will be a year old next month and will have about 12,000 miles by then.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

What tire do you purchase?AustinPCX wrote:Next oil change is due when the oil change light comes on at 8800 miles - or 12 months after the last change.
Any trouble finding the correct size?
BTW: 750 miles and 2 oil & filter changes so far.
I will be changing the oil a lot more often than spec'd.

Re: Forza 1 year Anniversary
After not being able to locate a 140/70-13 I went with a 150/70-13 Metzeler Feelfree. Been pretty happy with it so far.

Re: Forza 1 year Anniversary
No problem finding 140's now but at the time I needed them they were nowhere to be found in the US.

Re: Forza 1 year Anniversary
Right now I would choose another Metzeler instead of going back to the Dunlop. Better ride and seems to be a higher quality tire, but it's only been 2300 miles so far.

Re: Forza 1 year Anniversary
Not having a whole lot of luck finding our stock tire size in the States.AustinPCX wrote:No problem finding 140's now but at the time I needed them they were nowhere to be found in the US.
Who sells them in the USA?
And does anyone know the rolling diameter of our tire vs the next closest diameter tire avail in the States, if we can't find a 140/70-13?

No other options.
Michelin City Grips are my favs....but don't see this size so will likely go to another size with close rolling diameter and width.
(what goofy scooter co. would issue a bike with a N. American rare tire? They really don't pay much attention to Gringo scooter riders....all 12 of us. Go figure. Love the scoot, but my goodness.)
