RST - Slice gloves
So i have to say i'm somewhat disappointed with my gloves, i bought them approx 14 months ago and in the last month of so the glove has split in 2 places along the stitching :-/ one is on the palm of the glove, the other is along the velcro of the cuff :-( thinking i may make a move to a new manufacturer, anyone else had similar issues?

Re: RST - Slice gloves
I've recently bought RST gloves but no idea how long they will last - mine are probably cheaper than the ones you bought, but they got great reviews so I went for them (for a scoot and not be able to ride on motorways, I did not want bulborous armoured ones). http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... rod/107847
Do you take them on and off many times a day/every day? I would imagine that has some impact. How long are gloves supposed to last? From reviews many people own several sets over 4-5 years.

I use them to go to and from work so only on / off twice a day.

I move mine to spares at around two year intervals

Re: RST - Slice gloves
They are great - so far. If you look on the website for the black colour, there are 33 reviews for that colour compared to the blue I went for - http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... rod/108168
But, they may not offer the best protection nor last long - I've only had mine three weeks.

Re: RST - Slice gloves
I haven't looked at mine to see the name on it, but I have different gloves for different times of the year. I felt that the ones I would wear most often should be tried on at a dealer, and checked for sturdiness there, as well as bought there, just in case they did not hold up.
