Bl@@dy weather
I thought working from home would allow me to ride the PCX on select dry days but it has been windy and rain almost all of April. Lets hope UK get better weather in May. I like riding in rain but it just does not allow the same fun factor on those lovely curvy country lanes....

Re: Bl@@dy weather
Well, I know it won't help, but just FYI, we've been having the same kind of boring, nasty, and rainy weather in the north of Spain. First day I see a clear sky, TODAY!, so I'm getting ready to go out, outwalk my dogs, and sit down wherever I can enjoy a cold beer in the open
.
Don't despair, it has to come to an end some day!.

Re: Bl@@dy weather
weather has been pretty nice here in germany. But I think I'd rather have it rain a bit again, as the ground is getting pretty dry

Re: Bl@@dy weather
Nothing but sunny skies here. I've been riding my scooter almost daily, went on a big ride last weekend:
I'm in the middle, looking backwards, silver helmet, white shirt, on my white Buddy 125.
Weather's been great.

I think he knows, he just called me a bitch for the nice weather here.Woolley wrote:No need to say "pi$$ing", no swear filter here
Piss shit wank cock nutsack. See?

I fully encourage profanity, as long as people don't start calling eachother cunts. Even then, that'd still be okay, if it was in an affectionate way.

Maybe I should go work on my tan. I gotta get out there while the weather is still nice... Oh wait, it's nice here almost all the time.

Not good...have you traced the leak?Woolley wrote:Im a hell of a lot less bothered about the weather since i stopped riding the PCX

Re: Bl@@dy weather
Cause of leak: it's a VW.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

yeah, there was a crack in the pollen filter cover, and it was leaking through there, soaking the pollen filter and leaking into the fans, down into the footwell. There was about an inch deep puddle in there. The fans didn't work until they dried out. I kept the fans on full to dry out the footwell carpet and shoved a shitload of waterproof duct tape all over the pollen filter cover and there's no more leak nowTC3 wrote:Not good...have you traced the leak?Woolley wrote:Im a hell of a lot less bothered about the weather since i stopped riding the PCX

Re: Bl@@dy weather
This is the third Micra I've owned, never had a flooded footwell in any of them

I wouldnt have had a flooded footwell if the guy that serviced it didn't crack the pollen filter cover when he refitted it. Not the cars fault!
