question to mechanics...
Can these be used with the lower plastics (on) without busting up stuff? Found it on CL for 50 bucks and figured it would come in handy for something someday. Wanted to play with it but now I thinking no stress points on the all plastic bottom of a PCX

Alrighty then... going with the two hard points just before the center stand and letting the front contact fall where it will. Awesome! and its stable and rolls around. OH I will find use for this

Re: question to mechanics...
Whoa...that took nerve! How steady is it?
Great CL buy! Looks New.
Well, I Never saw a PCX up on one before, but often wondered like you,
IF....
1) it would sit safely 2) what would I crack? 3) can an oil change be done?
I'm guessing the oil flows out the same area as the 2011 while draining
We'll see what others say. Good idea or.....?

Re: question to mechanics...
The guy had a full size cruiser he bought it for. It rates 1500 lbs but he said he could not get comfortable with his big bike on it. I would not lie about how it fits the PCX, you know me to be twice as anal as you WhiteNoise... you would find it satisfactory. And now my scoot is twice as clean as yours
waxing was a pleasure, 119.00 on Amazon.

Okay....I'm a bit jealous about the ezy wax in' and all, but let's see how the oil change runs

Re: question to mechanics...
I was looking at axls type stands available from various outlets but wasn't sure they would work properly with the PCX without causing stress and damage. The solution you have seems to work well but I wouldn't have faith in my not braking something or the PCX falling.

Re: question to mechanics...
You didn't waste your money... this will make every thing much easier, I wish I had it when I installed wheel stripe. Would have been handy when I changed oil and I REALY like to hoist it up for a good buff. Seems to be made for the little scooter, just don't forget to lower your center stand before you let her down (obviously).Mgalutia88 wrote:I have just picked one of these up. I will do a vid of its stability today so you guys can feel better it.

Re: question to mechanics...
Here is a short vid of this products stability, don't leave the lift resting on the hydraulics use incremental safety flats on the lift.
I will be keeping the center stand down unless working in that area because I could imagine a fail.
The lift's pads are close to the exhaust header so a hot bike will leave a mark on the rubber pads. Done that for ya already

Re: question to mechanics...
Impressed and nervous.
Kudos to you homie for swinging a PCX the way you do.
At first I thought I was watching America's Got Talent! "Man raises scoot on mini lift and throws her all about! Well, will ya look at that! It stayed put!" Clap, Clap, Clap!
Seriously, I give you credit.
I'm chicken little. I tip my Hat to You!! But.....Use caution, she's not going steady with you! Think floor platform with tie down points...ya think?
Mgalutia88, what happened? Good report?
Anybody see this one at harborfreight? What do you think? http://t.harborfreight.com/high-positio ... 99887.html

Re: question to mechanics...
It's got two wheels in the back. Tip it back? You got the nerve going on
Drill some holes and mount locking casters
Yep, it's more $$, but HF runs coupons All The Time.
Do you get their flyer?

I'm not a subscriber I guess, does HF give a military discount? It reads like they encourage you to move it around on the stand but unless there are little wheels inside those legs that pop out when you pull the big lever I would not tilt my bike like a dolly to move it.WhiteNoise wrote:HF runs coupons All The Time.
