My Honda PCX
Got the 2013 Black Honda PCX 125cc
Gave it a clean today, finally managed to get 'water marks' off it....
added some red mesh to the Exhaust cover, going to put some in the gap on the side aswell,
got the rear Tyre replaced, coloured the 'Michelin CityGrip' writing,
looks good when riding but might re-colour in red instead!
shame I haven't got the same Tyre on the front though (not much text to colour)
got some CNC Brake Levers coming in Black/Red,
Red/Carbon Tax Disc Holder and Red/Chome DustCaps...
other than that there's nothing else done,
I really want to get rid of the hump in the Seat, so will buy a new one soon!
probably get a new Mirror aswell but not 100% yet as that one looks fine at the moment,
want to get a new front Brake Disc aswell, hate the 'rusty look',
and really need to get a wire brush or something on the Exhaust Bracket aswell,
previous Owner kept it out in the rain etc with no Cover since he bought it!!!
Nice Bike though, best i've had, this is my 5th Bike in 2 years and plan to keep it!
only issues is that the Fuel 'door' doesnt latch down properly, and the Seat is uncomfortable...
done just over 3000 Miles now, about 3040,
first/last Service was around 1560 so im not sure when I should get the next Service done?
.......... and then to finish off the Garden!!!!

Re: My Honda PCX
If you plan on riding during all sorts of weather you might co wider a taller windscreen. The one that comes on it does nothing in the rain.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Looking good jojo87. Red touches here/there are a nice addition.

Re: My Honda PCX
Hey Mel46, the Bike is only for pleasure, for the Summer especially, I dont go out if its raining and if I am caught out in it then I dont go that far from my Home so I just head straight back, plus not a fan of the big Screens....
kramnala58, its just a scribble from a brand called Illeqwip (I like graffiti looking things), will remove it soon though when I create my own one for it....
GeezyRider, I actually hate Mirrors on Scooters, make it look like an Insect, plus I only use the right one, never found myself using the left so took it off,
if i could i'd take both off but I use the right one only...
I have been looking for small compact ones, ones that dont stick up/out too far but haven't found any I like yet.

Re: My Honda PCX
I agree that the mirrors don't flatter the PCX but in the areas I ride they are essential for my safety. It would be nice if they could be smaller and more elegant but still be effective.

Re: My Honda PCX
Got my CNC Brake Levers, they look wicked on the Bike... abit loose so tried to find some Washers to fit but didnt have any, so used my own out of Cardboard for now which work perfect, until I can buy some REALLY thin Washers!

They are quite easy to install.potnoodle wrote:how hard are they to fit?
I installed the one that have a hinge so that they will fold up if they get hit if/when you take a spill and are less likely to break off.

Re: My Honda PCX
I dont find it that uncomfortable sitting on the seat with the bit of plastic though, just the holes look horrible,
i've been looking for a cheap seat cover to go over the whole thing though.

Re: My Honda PCX
I rarely look at the forks on anyone's bike Ali, unless someone purposely brings them to my attention. If I were a cop, my eyes would be drawn to them like a magnet.
Re Seat cover - I was just hoping you were around to maybe help jojo87 with a link to that nice one you found awhile back. Tis all
