Re: My Honda PCX
Are you sure the mirror parts have been fitted correctly?
Looks like they need rotating 180 degrees

Re: My Honda PCX
Mirrors are frmo eBay Mel46, around £6.99 I think :-)
also they rotate all the way around YouYou, but I dont have them stuck out part the bar when it's in my Garden due to the kids running past,
also I like them tucked in the other way so they dont come out beyond the grip anyway :-)
also the link, for the Covers, thats basically want I want, just a normal Cover for it that will fit perfect.

The goodies from BikerzBits should arrive today and I will post a photo. They tried to deliver when I was camping and required a signature on Saturday. Basically some overpriced red anodized stuff.

Re: My Honda PCX
Love the bike! Especially jealous of that mirror, I'm half tempted to buy new ones for myself.
Though quick question. I believe I bought the same brake levers as you but my rear brake lever is a bit finnicky, it doesn't seem to always fully release and I'll sometimes be stuck with my rear brake light on. Did you have the same problem or have to adjust it at all? The front brake lever is fantastic (albiet a little wiggly) but the rear brake lever just doesn't seem to want to cooperate.

Nice. May need a custom muffler shield too.

Re: My Honda PCX
lol love the Honda Badges on the Civic Cars (love Honda Civics full stop)
so added one onto the front and back of the Bike :-)
kind of fed up of people asking me 'what Bike it that'
well, you can clearly see PCX on the side, but the actual Honda Stickers aren't that viewable,
so now I have matching red/chrome Honda badges on the front and back.
looks big in the photos but thats the angle I think, crouching down...
looks nice when you're stood in front :-)

Re: My Honda PCX
Oh, Sowaka...
I didn't have any problem with the Levers, I didn't adjust anything,
the front went on easily, little wobbly like you said but works fine,
the rear was a bit more tricky to get on but went on and is fine.

Re: My Honda PCX
Haha, thanks for letting me know! I figured out my problem, the bolt that goes through the hole on my new lever is too thick and sticks, resulting in the bolt following the lever and rotating whenever I pull it. I'll figure out how to solve it somehow!jojo87 wrote:Oh, Sowaka...

Love the Honda logo you put on your bike though, it's tempting to buy one for myself to put on my top box!

Nice looking bike!
On a side note, what's with the huge license plates there? Seems like it would cause a lot of drag.
On the other hand, the "L" plate is handy for cutting a new rider some slack or at least staying farther away from them.
There should be other "scarlet letters" too:
"P" = I've been adjudicated a poor driver.
"I" = I have no insurance.
"T" = I like to text, email, shop online, while driving.
"R" = I don't stop for red lights.
and so on ....

2013 PCX 150 [now an ex-bike, soon to be consigned to the bottom line of the sig]

Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

My wife would have a field day if she saw me with a big sign that screams 'looser' hanging off the scoot. I'm barely holding down the comments for buying a scooter and would never hear the end of it. The text images alone circulating friends and family would be very depressing. Hope you don't have to put with that too long

I love it ... some drivers would need a scrolling series of letters because one just wouldn't be enough.Bash On! wrote:There should be other "scarlet letters" too:

Re: My Honda PCX
Sadly an L plate that size is a legal requirement in the UK - anything smaller or with bits cut-off is illegal and could get you points on your licence if the police wanted to bother. Recently saw someone on a scoot with a tiny self-made L plate stuck to the rear of his bike - only 3 inches high if that. He may get away with it for ever, perhaps one day he'll get pulled over.

Re: My Honda PCX
Yep, have to have one on the front and back, but I have nowhere to put one on the front without making the Bike look crap!
most people have the large L stickers on the fronts somewhere, or on the mudguard, or hard plastic ones on a clamp coming off the front forks to the side,
but they make the Bike look horrible!!
only problem is that if the Police do stop me, im getting a telling off for not having one on the front,
but i'll just say the twats in my area keep pulling it off :-)
the back one isn't much of an issue as I dont really see it, but yeah, both the size of the Licence Plate and L Plates are a legal requirement here :-(
I was thinking of trying to remove the whole plate mount, and getting one where the Plate will hang pretty much just under the back indicator lights so it's higher slightly.....
either way im stuck with it until I do my full Bike test (as obviously only on my CBT at the moment)

My front one is a stick-on stuck on the windscreen! (looks a bit naff but it came from the dealer like that). Was thinking of getting a fork mount one.

Re: My Honda PCX
Pretty sure I got these exact same ones. They're great but a tiny tiny bit wobbly. The rear brake lever's hole was a little too small for the standard sized pivot bolt that attaches it to the bike, so I just bought a $6 chainsaw file and spent two minutes filing out the insides to make it fit. After that it worked fantastically.jojo87 wrote:Here is the eBay link for them Urbanfreestyle

Still waiting on my Rim Stickers but just messed with them on Photoshop and if I get them on the Wheels properly I think they'd make the Bike look really nice :-)

Re: My Honda PCX
What's the octagon shaped piece on the left side of the front wheel?
I like the wheel stickers. That's definitely on my list of things to get. I think just plain red though for me.
