90/90-14 michelin - in stock

Post by homie »

Motorcycle SuperStore has just reported new Michelin 90/90-14 front (tire)s in stock. If you've been waiting for one to surface in the US this might be the only outlet.

Hey, if anyone wants to be a saint and pass on their Motorcycle-superstore 10% discount code...post it up here and let the best man (first one to nab it) win. They give a code good for 10% off your next order good for 60 days every time you get a shipment from them. =)

It's a one time free shipping code for over 50 bucks... FS-NEW1410
but tires are free ship anyway so don't waste it on rubber.

New Feet
Looks like WhiteNoise is getting the last City Grip 90/90/14 tire from MCSS ;) Also getting the rear tire in stock size. Arriving Early Nov. w/free delivery. Next step...When will I get them installed and by who? No, Not by me tis a Back breaker job? Maybe Honda dealer or local bike shop. Hmm...can I trust these guys? No choice me guess.
So! homie, have you been thinking about powder coating yer wheels while you're in the vicinity?
Say, How would you feel if yer New paint got scraped while doing the do? Much Scarier than Halloween o_O Woooo!
I'm thinking of white rims, but then thought about....."the" scraping! :o Oh Geez!

No WN... powder coat will not happen over safety issues and paint isn't happening either, Honda wins this one with the factory black rims. Glad you snagged that tire, I had given up on a 90/90 and ordered BIG only to have them email me two days later or that one would be coming to me  I think that stock front and rear will serve you well and your speedometer will be accurate.

I'm going to mount and balance new Miche's with the zip tie method this weekend. Then run Shay against her stock bench next week to see what changes. I do anticipate tire removal and mount a challenge... but FUN! right? We are having a fun but safe hobby with our scooters I hope.

Darn, they sure went fast. Trying to find those for the front is difficult. Luckily there is still some rubber on my wife's original front tire. She has 11,000 miles on it. I expect it can go another 3,000 mile?? What is the normal mileage on an IRC front tire before it has to be changed?

Mel did you submit for a notification? Create a little demand and maybe you will get the next one. I will go do it again too because if Shay takes too much of a hit in performance I want the 90/90-14 front miche tire as well.

I just went back to that site to ask to be notified, but they showed 1 still in stock. I put it in my basket but will have to wait till I get home to finish checkout. I am at a coffee shop. Don't trust their open wifi. I have been biten several times here. Someone is obviously watching the users here.

Just to let everyone know, I used the code FS-NEW1410 and got free shipping. I did not get around to completing my order process until today, so maybe there is still a small supply of front City Grips at that site. I don't know how many times you can use that code but it said it was good till the end of October but still accepted it.

Mine lasted 18,000 miles which was when I sold the scooter and was still on there one year and two owners later.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
