They are excellent little HD cameras. I am just getting up to speed on it from some RC guys. If you set that clip speed to max it will go until the battery dies or it runs out of space. you can even have it loop over itself for security work with a power cord. The default is set to the 10 minutes I think I read. The weather is supposed to warm to near 60 F on the weekend for a real cycle trial.

I saw that! I'm itching to burn off a tank, test the helmet cam, bench with a tachometer for the first time and get a feel for my new rearview mirrors. Also planning a trip to the range. I think the Mobius would be well suited for firearm videos but probably not shock resistant for a tack rail mount on an AR

I watched the YouTube video with that quadcopter and was amazed! Was that with a GoPro? Would it work with the Möbius? How do those FPV Glasses work with prescription glasses, and would they work with the Möbius?

The Mobius work basically the same way. There are plenty of videos of Quads using Mobius as well.

Here is a real nice Quad w/ Mobius.

I think the Mobius does a little better in low light after watching dozens of these but they are awfully darn close.

On my GMax GM54S. Needs a safety string. :P

Lucky for me - someone else with the same helmet did the leveling placement work because it ended up way different than I might have guessed.

I would not have guessed a mounting that far back either :D Interesting tips on mounting to the bike and quality looks pretty good!

The comparison aircraft video's also telling especially since almost no one in the comments can get passed the price of the Mobius even though GoPro performs a little better  I too would take 3-4 Mobius's over 1 GoPro for the slight differences in video especially given the precarious situations they utilize them.

I saw the YouTube video on the joovuu (?) Waterproof case for the Möbius and that is really interesting for those that expect to do some wet weather riding. For the price, I am really impressed with this little camera. Very nice!

I am with you - even 2 or 3 Mobius beat 1 Go Pro hands down. They are way too close for the price differential. The $130 bottom of the line is closer but very limited on features and still too large for some things.

$20 + $6 shipping from the UK.

There are few things your can buy that are this far off a competitive price in favor of the consumer. For what you get with the Mobius action cam I'm getting my father-in-law one for Christmas

Waiting for my clip to upload from todays ride. In the meantime my Grom buddy got some Mobius footage a while back in his Kolb. He just held it (without dropping it. lol) It is a bluff across the Mississippi river in Illinois where one of our little airports are.

Mobius clips of new Forza walk-around and ride. (ignore the audio I was delirious)

I took 15 - five minute clips with this first Forza ride ( actually 2 of the 15 were only about a minute. YouTube pixelates the video as it converts when the speed picks up with close objects flashing by. I will post a motion as well. I guess Vimeo is better if you want to pay. At home and on my TV the videos direct look very clear.

Be sure to click on 1080P in the bottom right corner in YouTube.

I wish I could afford a Möbius. Of course, I also wish I had a quadcopter to put it on. But things being what they are, all I could afford was a G1W dash can.

I found one for $29

Watch out for amazon knock offs there Mel, that's a pretty steep price reduction for the typically 45-50 dollar dash cam. Be a checking them reviews :D I got jacked on an Ontario lock blade that the picture showed one thing and the shipment was a surprise. Same shell game with flip sights for AR's, what you see is not always what you get and always the super low price is the clue.

Well that camera may do just as well after YouTube gets a hold of the files. We found out through much testing that YouTube eliminates anything beyond a maximum of 6000 kbps data rate via compression that can result in horrible looking pixelation. When one moves at fast speeds on the road (above even 25 mph or so) at 1080P and 30 FPS the kbps can reach 18,000 so YouTube works it over. Minimizing movement via a more solid mount than my helmet helps and reducing the resolution and other settings do as well. At 720P and 30 FPS the Mobius rate is about 5800 kbps max so no YT compression should occur. Add a good mount to that and it should look pretty good. The negative with Mobius is the 720P FOV is smaller. I may end up sticking with 1080P 30 fps but dumb down the settings to minimize the data rates. Also, when there are trees and things right next to the road you have to slow way down to make it look decent.

Now that said all of these videos look great on my laptop or TV. It is YouTube messing them up. One can pay for other service providers for better streaming (like Vimeo). The problem with that is some folks devices are too slow to render the higher bitrates well even if you spend the money and go to the trouble. We studied a lot of YT videos and are still looking for the silver bullet to good motion videos.

Yes its true, the recordings I see on my HDMI cabled monitors are fricken stunning but after YT regurgitates them even if you choose to watch in 1080p... well not so much ;)

There's always http://vimeo.com (500MB / wK, 25GB /yr free and lossless HD)
Got to be careful with helmet mounted devices - if you fall wrongly it can cause problems for the helmet and you (that is what is believed to have happened to Shumacher, a report says he fell sideways onto his helmet cam and rock and split the helmet in two).
