The luxury of the Venture Heat electric glove liners for $80 is indescribable until you try it. Even if you never go for the over priced jack and pants liners. The glove liners will almost burn your fingers at 30F if you wear a real ski mitten over them. Most days you will still wear a normal, full protection moto glove over them and be toasty.fish wrote:Looking at battery or plug in electric liners.h
It will pay you back over time. You can save 60% over any car on your gas bill by riding the PCX.AustinPCX wrote:25F is pushing the limit for me. Any colder and it stops being enjoyable to ride. I don't own any winter gear and don't plan on buying any. What's the point of saving money on gas if you blow it all on gear?
Hardly anybody would put enough miles on their bikes to recoup the savings. When you add up the cost of the bike, maintenance, insurance, extra gear and any additional modifications, it would take many years if ever to reach the break even point. Actual savings on gas looks good, but doesn't tell the whole story.sendler2112 wrote:It will pay you back over time.
