Wow - I have four quads now o_O but I may need one of those with the high performance motors he mentions.

Took the Mobius to an employee Christmas party last night and my wife's boss is having me order some for the conference rooms at an insurance company. I will receive them and update firmware then give a short block of instruction to her boss. All meetings will be recorded downloaded, dated and filed away from now on to access in the future. Reason given was to document promised services from clients that in the past have been known to be conveniently forgotten after meetings.

I just saw a YouTube video that did a comparison of what they said were the top 10 best action cams, with a GoPro being number one and Polaroid C3 as number 10. Möbius was not among the selection. Has anyone compared the Möbius to other action cams? It looked like to me that it was very close to the GoPro, so I don't know why it was not in the group. I saw the Monoprice MHD and it did not seem as good as the Möbius, though it was good. Same with the Polaroid C3.
Currently own:

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn

We posted reviews comparing Go Pros to Mobius above. They are very close for most things. Go Pro has a few more features but they are costly. I fly RC heli's, quads, and airplanes and the lighter and smaller the better so Mobius wins hands down until you get into the more expensive and larger aircraft. It's better for helmet mounts IMO. Accessories are considerably less expensive in most cases for Mobius i.e. mounts, etc.. I can buy at least two maybe three Mobius for one Go Pro so I would prefer to have the difference concurrent views recording.

I don't see anyone using anything other than Mobius on the performance quads... 1.4 ounces is most likely why.

Another camera question. I've mounted the GoPro 4 black (open back cover) on the black plastic above the dials & behind the Givi windscreen. What is causing the vibration noise at idle? I don't think the GoPro is rattling inside? or is it?

(Was a relatively quiet ride with the siege happening in the Central Business District that day)

No - I see and hear the same thing on the Mobius. You need a vibration dampener as well. The vibration causes waves and shakes on the video sensor and the sound effect on the mic.

I am waiting for delivery on one for a quad like that. They can be softened even more with additional rubber washers on the mount bolts. The Go Pro has a bit more mass than a Mobius so it may actually be more effective.

You can always use your top or side helmet mount in which your body is the dampener.

Unfortunately mounting cameras to helmets is a no no as its deemed as illegal modifications to the safety gear so bike mount is my only on-bike option. Plus chest mount is a bit difficult to mount on and off. Tried it but just don't feel right on a scooter.

Good grief... more regulation
You people need some guns down there, one armed citizen with a handgun could have dealt with that shotgun and kept the keystone cops from that horrific, terrorizing hail of .223 they used to kill one terrorist. I would have rather taken my chances with the terrorist  and where in training do you toss flash bangs, smoke or teargas in after your team goes in WTF

I went for "the best of the best" and got myself GoPro Hero 3+ Silver.
I'll mount it on windscreen. Used a suction cup (accessory) once, but I'll put a more permanent glued mount.
Problem is, that 30 minutes riding is 5GB of movie files with 1080p resolution.

But I bought GoPro because it's is, basically, a standard. It has a lot of accessories and pretty good 'disaster proof' case.

Yeah, nah.. let's not go into the gun debate. Not releasing him out on bail would have fixed this. Guns would have made it worse.

I must say after recording in 4K, it's hard to go back to 1080p. Pity apart from high

I'd go for the newest GoPro 4 or GoPro 3+ Black but... there is a price difference and I don't really need such camera. It's "nice to have" not "must have". I can live with plain HD. I think... :D

Our keystone cops think they are toy soldiers .

On a recent exercise our Federal Police left plastic explosive behind when they finished the exercise. Almost funny :| :|
