Not sure How fish can endure the cold. Oh, that's right, he wears enough clothing that he can barely mount his scoot! ;)
Hey, "rider lifts" are common winter scooter accessories in many parts of the world.(see harbor freight)
In my coffee village I get an assist from one park bench and two of my new street people buddies. ("Street People" is the wrong term for these folks....they are the ever present side walk colonels who stake out the same cafe chair & the same piece of sidewalk every morning. They know everything about everyone in town....and are greeted by everyone. It took many early morning trips on my scooter for me to be accepted by these village veterans.,)

Thanks scottyb! I love taking all kinds of photos especially of my scoot. Feel free to post a few of yours anywhere on the forum, c'mon...share the love ;)

Hmm...agree, a sink stopper would be a plug.
My Mom however considers it a disc-like piece of pliable rubber that just lies over the sinks drain to prevent the water from running down it (while she hand washes small items). BTW, she's 89 and resides in a nursing home. She has All her wits about her. I can't slip a thing by her. Never could  and I'm guessing, I never will  I do Love her dearly.

Ouu..now the word putz? I looked that one up. Bit tricky sounding. Nice, not nice?....let's see.
Two Google definitions: (the others I will not convey or discuss. Follow up if ye like).
1. (Noun) A stupid or worthless person.
2. (Verb) Engage in inconsequential or unproductive activity.

Steph, LOL over wearing too much gear making it hard to get on your scoot.
TRUE!!! Gets me annoyed sometimes because I get on and off often to take pics. Oh well, small price to pay to be warm and protected. Arg!

This is what I sometimes feel like: (and how about you, fish?)

40 F here clearing and about 3 MPH wind. I am getting ready to test the new Mobius camera mount dampener. About 50 the next three days although there could be a storm on Tuesday. :)

Lucky you! I'm in the deep freeze here still. Possible 48 on Wednesday with 90% chance of rain. No good.

I just did a dampener test about 20 miles and I consider it a semi-failure. The rubber and weight is shaking too much although the waves and oscillations are gone. I will try foam some use in between the dampener plates and see what happens next. The alternative is to remove the additional weights and/or add the foam. I also have a chest mount to try too.

The temperature is great (now up to about 43) and no wind. I was even pushing 75 on the highway for a few miles until I spotted a county mounty and was toasty warm.

My poor scoot all lonely in the garage. Take that back. Has my husband's scoot to keep it company. Wouldn't mind looking into a helmet cam. Might go with a bullet type to mount on the side of my helmet.

28 F. and the day off....40 miles.
Hit the Dog et al. for coffee this morning.....in town 45 mins before sunrise gets one the primo parking spot in front of the Dog.
5 heat packs, 7 torso layers + 2 balaclavas & rain pants over the Sliders. Warm enough for a scooter rider.

26F this morning. 37 miles to work to put on my new vario and belt later. Plug in gear on 75% and cold enough that my glove liners weren't burning my fingers with my mittens on like they usually do when it is 40F. If I were going to ride all day cross country in these temps I would also use my heated foot beds. Zero fogging with my balaclava on since I have a good pin lock visor that works with the perfect ventilation of my Schuberth helmet.

@fish - Those photos are so cool! Love the shot in the coffee house with your scoot visible though the front door. The covered bridge shot with the scoot liking straight on makes me think "Ghost Rider". Thanks for sharing! :D

@SECoda - Gonna get in the mid 40s by Wednesday. But, 90% chance of rain. Bummer for me. We could have rode today but we let the opportunity slip away. Did shopping instead. :(

@sendler2112 - I found this product to be excellent for keeping my toes toastie warm. $1.50 for a pair and lasts around 7 hours. They don't feel bulky in my boots either.

Have we found a good anti-fogging solution short of keeping the shield up a bit? :P They certainly market quite a few but do any of them work?

I am cheating on the Forza top case lighting kit and ordered a Honda scooter terminal wire harness connectors set so that I can just use the existing plug to the tail lights like a previous user. It is easy to get to that behind the manual slot in the back under the seat. That's what makes this forum invaluable.

Miserable. Dribbly Rain and 47 degrees. Typical weather for this time of year. Heavy rain and winds forecasted for Christmas Eve day/night. Bah! But, better than snow! I like snow on Christmas. Next day...take it away :D
Sucked out remaining petrol in tank yesterday (got a mouthful, OMGadosh! So bad, Yuck!)
Then filled with fresh Shell V-Power 93 ("my prerogative"...remember that song?) pre-mixed with some "Sta-bil" (follow directions peeps) just up and under the filler's stop bar
Think I'll do an oil change in early spring. WN is ready to ride given the (my) proper winter weather. Keeping the faith on that.

Cheers,... Be warm, be safe :P

52 beautiful miles. It's supposed to be clear and 50 F on Christmas. :P

While I was gone I asked my wife to pick up some anti-fog solution or wipes. Here is what she found. I have no idea if they will work.

They do help for the glasses in conjunction with a pin lock on your visor when its really cold. I was experiencing a little trouble and used the anti fog wipes on my glasses.

Santa brought me a PinLock for xmass WOOT! It fit like a glove on my LS2 but I thought it to be dingy and yellow compared to my visors crystal clear view... then I noticed the protective plastic film

Its all good!
