Good to see you young pups out enjoying themselves, I'm 73 next January, and only got my scoooter licence in August this year after a 30 year break (back then you didn't need a licence if the bike was under 250cc). My PCX150 has 1,073km on the clock and I intend adding a minimum of 50km every day. Life is great :-)

I just turned 68 this month and I have to say that my pcx is the most fun bike I have ever owned! It is nowhere near as fast as the bikes I have owned in the past, even one that had only a single oversized cylinder but could reach 100 mph. I can't remember the brand. I just know that I hated that bike and I was glad when I sold it. My favorites before this pcx were my Harley Sportster and my various Hondas. I don't know how much longer I will be able to ride, so I want to enjoy myself as much as possible on my pcx. I consider it a bonus that my wife likes riding also, and has a pcx just like mine.

Not sure there is a skew. It looks like a normal "curve"

Maybe this helps see the leaning a bit better... There are 14 more occurrences at age 51-infinity than there are at 18-40. I can graph the ranges which will make it even more obvious. Remember that the youngest age is a relatively old 18 and the oldest age is at least in the 70s. The sample size is small.


The bottom ranges 18-40 total 35 occurrences
The mid range is 41-50 of which there are 34 occurrences
The top ranges 51-Infinity total 49 occurrences

Under 20 2% 2% [ 2 ]
21-30 10% 10% [ 12 ]
31-40 18% 18% [ 21 ]
41-50 29% 29% [ 34 ]
51-60 20% 20% [ 24 ]

I started out on a Honda 50cc, as an intown commuter at the age of 40. Now having put 28,000km on it, upgraded to a 2013 PCX last August. Now 43 and feel like a kid evertime I ride. So far 6500km and loving the freedom to get out of town.
