Does battery power affect headlights?
so does battery power affect the headlights? I was looking at the lights on my pcx and they dont look that bright to me. I got the scooter about a few days ago and its been sitting outside in the cold with a cover over it so I know the battery has probably been affected by it.

Re: Does battery power affect headlights?
As far as I know, the headlights will only come on while the bike is running, which would mean to me that if it uses the battery it would only do so to stabilize the power generated by the sudo-alternator. Of course, if the battery is weak then much of the generated current will go to trying to recharge the battery, but the lights won't reflect this as far as i know. I and several others have added more lights to make visibility better at night because we do not think the headlights are bright enough. Some have looked into HID and other options also.
