It was a quasi nickname given me from the designated class screw ball in machine shop class in high school where I was the shop foremen.

Luizao is a nickname in Portuguese for Luis, which is my name. I'm Spanish, but from a town right on the border with Portugal. Also, I have Portuguese ascendence on my mom's side. Also, there have been a bunch of Brazilian/Portuguese soccer players named Luizao and my friends started calling me that.
