PCX seat lift

Post by fish »

How does the seat stay up on a PCX?
Is there a lift piston as found on the Forza?

Nope - it flops against the handlebars and it doesn't take much to make it fall. I use a mini-bungee cord if I am keeping it up w/o a hand on it. That's the negative. The positive is goes ALL of the way up unlike our Forza's.

2015 PCX has two opening positions. Previous years have only "full open" resting on the bars.
What makes the '15 stay upright in it's 1st position? The redesigned hinge, I would imagine. It's second position is full open resting on the bars. Just Another added feature on the 2015 folks :D

Whitenoise - how I envy the cleanliness of your pcx - mine will never look like that again, no matter how often I clean it. Damn grit, UK roads and weather :)

Very nice on the 2015 update. I actually have no problem with the 2013. I only wish the Forza opened as far.

iceman, those pics are when my scoot was spanky new, but I have to say, it probably still looks new next to yours. Dirt, grit all the time is nasty, No solutions to that one...unless Maybe u move?
