Well first off, this happened about a week before I had that gear in the picture. I was wearing a T-shirt, , a helmet, long pants, leather gloves, and simple motorcycle boots(above ankle with a shin plate).

Lowside on an uphill left turn. Road was crowned, I went too close to the edge of the road(the last 18 inches or so), and there was evidently moss there that I didn't see. I can't be 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure the edge of my boot caught the ground and simply twisted my leg to the left until the bones broke and I got dragged off the scooter.

This forum is designed to facilitate civil discussion among adults about scooters, specifically focusing around the Honda PCX. All members are expected to act as adults and treat each other as adults. This means no personal insults, flaming, or unnecessary criticism. You are expected to respect others and be treated respectfully at all times, regardless of your age, gender, race, preferences, or opinions.
Ok not idiotic, extremely sensible. Let not argue and just blame the stealth moss.

When i had my Burgman 400 that particular scene was at the top of my list of places to watch out for, as well as turning to the right on a crest of the hill while trying to watch out for oncoming traffic. It is quite easy to to be caught up in riding and forget about gravity when slowing down on a hill. My wife pulled up to a stop sign and was too close to the curb where there was a lot of sand and gravel from when the roads were sanded. Her foot sllipped on the sand and down she went. If she had been on a hill at the time, it would have been a lot worse.

Indeed, let's not argue about whether or not it's easy to see crap on the edge of the road when you're driving through what qualifies as forest area on a sunny day.

Let's instead use the report button and see if the site owner agrees that you're a troll :ugeek: .

Bad roof! So you'll be opining about a bike you don't even own? :o

Oh, well. Informed opinions are not a requirement here--just look at some of my posts! ;)
2013 PCX 150 [now an ex-bike, soon to be consigned to the bottom line of the sig]
2013 Silver Wing ABS (Black)
1971 BMW R75/5 (White)
Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

Come on, you have to prioritize. :D
Buy the bike, finance the roof and pay off the roof with the money you save on fuel.
Or...
Finance the bike and pay off the bike with all the money you save on fuel.
Seriously, I don't like to borrow money, but in my case the savings are about 200.00 per month by using my scoot as primary transportation.
Happiness is two wheels and a full tank of gas!

Thought I could wait till next year for the roof but sneaky squirrels and some hidden water damage caused a small cave in (no one was hurt).
