That was also my impression, it's a little tighter than my BWS even. Add in my newly arrived armoured riding pants which gets in the way of low speed steering and it's a non starter. The PCX's riding position in my mind is completely superior to anything in the under $4,000 category.GlassMan wrote:Ok,friend of mine bought an smax but being 25below in Chi-Town hasn't had it out yet. I went over and had a sit on it . I'm 6.2 and 195lbs with a 34in waist ( not bad for 51 huh ! ) I imedietly did not like the position, felt VERY cramped compared to my PCX. When the weather warms we will do some swaping comparisons and I will post my findings. Hope spring shows up soon, brrrr.

I like my PCX. While it shudders in the first 1-3mph and I don't exactly like that, so far I've driven it for 8,000 miles and have had 0 problems! :-)
I've also driven the bike from Clearwater Beach to Sarasota Beach which is a little over 90 miles one way with only mild discomfort coming back. I don't have the iron butt that some riders have lol

I think the PCX tops any of the 110-200 class bikes regardless of maker, however, I am unashamedly biased having owned 3 Honda bikes and 5 (or is it 6?, can't remember now) Honda cars.
There are always tradeoffs/pros/cons/etc and the PCX seems to do... everything pretty well.

All Honda need to do to build the perfect all round scooter is fit a 200cc engine in the PCX.forza300 wrote:There are always tradeoffs/pros/cons/etc and the PCX seems to do... everything pretty well.
The 125 and 150 engines are just not powerful enough.

Definitely need more ccs with a CVT. 125/150 is adequate with a manual transmission. Love my CBR 125R.

Absolutely damn right. 200cc, maybe 20% increase in power, bit more top speed, love that idea!
