Dr pulley rollers

[Need more speed]

Could someone please give me some advice on which is the best weight for dr pulley rollers for acceleration and top speed ?? Thanks in advance

Would honestly depend on your PCX model(125, 150?) and your body weight to be honest. 12-13g is recommended generally(I currently use 13g). The roller weight doesn't affect your top speed. Sliders and an aftermarket variator would.

Anyone know the standard roller weight in the 2013 125 PCX. I have a manual but it only gives the dimensions.

Last night after work, I installed 13 gram sliders in my 2013 PCX150.

Why: Two reasons. First, I bought the bike used with 3000 miles on it. It has had a Judder/shudder taking off when cold, or after sitting a while until it warms up and I have ridden it a few miles. I wanted to take a peek at the CVT, and I figured I would have a new set of sliders for "just in case".

Second reason: Flat spot (sluggish) in the middle. It was obvious that the variator was going full closed too soon.

Teardown: Easy and straight forward. I found that two of the six stock rollers had some flat spotting. Everything else looked good. Belt in spec. Cleaned out the dust, installed the new sliders and put everything back together.

Results: No more Judder/Shudder. No more "flat spot" it has noticeably better take off. More amazingly, It gained some top end speed, about 2 MPH by the speedo, and it will cruise at 55 MPH with less throttle. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I think the odd wear of two of the stock rollers was causing the problem with the Judder/Shudder.

The hardest part of the job was putting the lower panel back on.

I put 200 more miles on it today. It is better than ever. Most of the time cruising along at 55 MPH. Got 98 MPG on the last fill up. That is as good as the mileage the Elite 110 got most of the time, but I rode it wide open everywhere.

I got mine off eBay. They came from scooter assassins in Thailand. They only took about a week to come and were about £21 if I remember rightly.
