Who's got the most miles/km on their PCX!?
An eager PCX owner is curious to know how long these scooters last.
PCX 125 in particular, but feel free to share a story about your scooter that lasted 400,000mi...if it's true of course.

Re: Who's got the most miles/km on their PCX!?
1300 miles? Do I win? Doh....
Seriously with correct maintinence regular oil changes there is no reason why a pcx couldn't go 100k miles or more without needing engine work.
It's a honda made in the 21st century, I have even seen chinese imported bikes racking up serious mileage these days.
Only thing that lets the pcx down is a 60mph cruise speed but if your happy at that ride it anywhere anytime and don't worry about racking the miles up because it will take it

Re: Who's got the most miles/km on their PCX!?
I am wondering who has the least kms/miles averaged out over the number of months the bike is old. My 2010 (approx. 60 months) only has about 16,200 kms (10,000 miles), or an average of 270 kms (167 miles) p/mth. I have had it for 27 months only put less than 2,000 kms on it. I don't do a lot of driving in downtown BKK with the public transit (skytrain and subway) being close and the road traffic being horrible.

Re: Who's got the most miles/km on their PCX!?
My annual mileage is under 4000 miles (about 3500/yr) so my bike will have low mileage compared to some but perhaps more wear and tear on the belt/clutch than those riding long distances on A roads/freeways. Since the 2yr service costs came to £950 with VAT (tax) added on, I thought I'd take the chance and service the bike myself and hope that nothing major goes wrong. I did have the 1st service done as things usually go wrong soon after purchase or later in life, so wanted to start off with a warranty.
If would have to be a major fault to eat into that extra £850 I've saved, and as has been raised on this forum before, keeping up with the service makes a scooter not such cheap transport as it adds a 3rd the cost of the bike on top. Good to hear the many PCX's can last for a long time.
I'm always amazed at the little Pizza delivery bikes (50cc?) as they have a hard life but seem to be very reliable. Never seen one close up so not sure what make/model most are.

Re: Who's got the most miles/km on their PCX!?
She is now just about 2 years old, standing on 10'000km. Don't know what the miles are..
I'm sure being Honda and all, she will make it to a good 50'000-60'000km if proper care is taken
