Changing front panels

Post by hezronspringer »

I recently scraped the side of my PCX 2015 which i've only had for literally 3 days and now it's a got a big whole in it

. I've founded the front left and front left bottom panels for £35 + £5.99 shipping altogether. I'm wondering how long would it take mechanic to change this as I'm trying to work out the kind of price I'm going to have to pay for this big mess up.

Hope they are the new style 2014/5 panels and not the older ones! I believe the panels come off rear-front with other bits needing to come off first, so may be an hour or so labour (others have more experience). Thing is, some dealers break clips and things when removing things but normally the panels survive.
It may be wise to take a look at the comprehensive dismantling thread on this forum, where Dave and Homie have supplied guides - and youtube video's by Homie such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaqlzTm ... oyVAcpcIwl
