Please be advised: The http://siam.de/pcx page with the actual Glympse link should be reloaded. Otherwise you might get an outdated link. Either press the reload icon or [F5]...
Today Wolle has "day off". Maybe you like the link: http://glympse.com/09gy-7ddx of MPE coming from the North to Pattaya with his PCX...
I've been watching, thank you for the link. This is so cool to watch! Nice travelling speed too, under 50 most of the time. Two quick stops were made along 331 that I saw...atm and petrol (between 12:40 & 1am my NY time).
Keep on rolling. Be safe. Have Fun!!

I'm coming down from the north-eastern part of Thailand (aka Isaan). I live in Nong Khai right next to the Mekong.
And of course I drive a lovely red PCX
After a wonderful breakfast at my friends shop (you will get to know Rudi, the baker... he will join us tomorrow after a crazy night drive), I arrived safely and without any problems at a little resort to have a good dinner and a nice bed
Today is a lazy day. We will do some geocaching (visit http://geocaching.com for more information) and take care of the bikes. Well, maybe we will take some pictures on the way. But the next glympse will come... Hear from you soon, guys!

Today was - travelling wise - the seventh day already! Time is running fast, just like the kms. We did a good part going to east and then heading up north. The roads are getting quieter now, the landscape turns into a bit mountainous (is this an english word?) and it takes a bit of a search to find a place for the night. Anyway, another nice day spent on the three red ones.
But Look! "Three Red Ones" found Three Nice places to stay!! So accommodations get harder to find as roads get quieter. Shame it rolls that way. Did anyone bring a tent? Glad to read that all is going well. I will catch your Ride tonight when 3 Red Ones get rollin' again 3 are resting now...zzzzzz

Today I was struggling with my hardware a bit. The tablet is riding under the seat and tries to catch up with GPS along the way. But as a PCX-rider you know , it is getting quite hot there, and with the temperatures here in Thailand, it is a hard life for the hardware. After the coffeebreak MyTracks lost the connection somehow, so there is a part missing in between. AQnyway, we had a nice day, and found a good place for the night again. Nice little bungalows (with aircon) for a lousy 350 Baht a night! That is comfortable accommodation for a mere 10 bucks... Enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the ride. See you tomorrow!
Hey, guys, I'm enjoying watching your trip. I am going to do a ride through Isaan for 8 days beginning April 1st. I can see your Glimpse, but is there a way that I can see your "tracks", or the exact roads that you have ridden on so far? Much thanks.

Look at the google "kmz"-tracks (Google-Earth) published nearly every day...

Oh Happy Day! I felt like a burger on the grill at temperatures about 40 degrees (centigrade) today. It started with a visit to Phanom Rung, an old Khmer Palace built on a non-active volcano. It was quite misty today, so the view was not that great. But anyway, we were able to find a geocache up there, nice reward for a small detour.
We decided to make a change to our planned route, so we skipped Ubon Ratchathani in favor for tomorrow's highlight: The road from Kalasin to Sakon Nakhon. It is a fabulous way through the mountains with never-ending left-right-left-right turns. I went that way last year by car, and believe me, this is the main reason for hunting my Red Rat from Phuket up to the North-East. I hope you will like tomorrow's glympse!
As everyone expected, the three red ones performed flawlessly again. Definitely a PCX is good for a long ride. We are doing about 250 km or more per day, and had no problems so far. These bikes are really great!
Another day is going to end. One of the red ones left us after about one hour, because Rudi got to go back to look after his bakery. Manfred and me went on with the route, and we enjoyed the swinging curves of route 12 from Kalasin to Sakon Nakhon. If you have the chance to visit this area, don't miss it. It was one more day for us to have fun with the PCX, and the bikes seemed to like it, too. Just purring away on the road, it was fun for all of us.
I hope you had the chance to follow our trail, if not, tomorrow is another day with another glympse. Cheerio, I go for a ice-cold beer now. See you tomorrow, guys! And wheresoever you ride, take care of your PCX and drive safely!

The quarter for tonight. Nice bungalows, and with 500 Baht per night exactly on target. I am beginning to like this trip ;-)

What a coincidence! Just under the gate to province Sakon Nakhon the odometer hit the 27000 kms.
