Well, I basically just put some sellotape on it for now to test..
it seemed ok actually but as time went on there was still something there,
but the tape was still on when I got back...
and it was still when the throttle was pulled,
so, i'm not sure, sucks though!

As soon as I set off I was like YESSSSSSSSS.... and it was quiet for awhile, but then there was still something,
if there is a way to firmly secure the Washer then it MIGHT,
yours might actually just be that though.

Slap a load of grease on it. That'll dampen it down a bit for a while.

Frustrated isn't the word,
especially as the local Honda Dealer had it and apparently took the casings off on the left side and said everything looked fine (belt, bearings etc)
and for it to only happen when the Throttle is pulled ever so slightly,
but it is the left side, I sorted the washer which was mentioned on the right side so that now isn't moving,
but this rattle seems to be getting worse and louder...
considering the Dealer said they can't see anything wrong, not sure what to do with it, apart from do another 200 miles and let them have it for the first service...
Oil change etc, and tell them the rattle is still there, which you can even hear on 1 of my videos... and see what they can do/find.

Have YOU removed the belt cover yet?
Maybe you could then run the engine at various speeds and have a look and a listen to what is happening in that left side?
Might just be some belt slap on the cover, or an issue with one end or the other of the CVT.
Some times these belt ocvers are a real pain to get off the first time....stuck fast. But if the dealer has already been in there - then your trip should not be too difficulat.

Is the bike running ok apart from this?

It seems to be, there was a point 2 days ago when I went out on a straight road and it seemed to take longer to pick up speed, throttle was pulled all the way back and usually doesn't take long as you might know, but yeah... was noticeable, the rattle is getting louder though, and it is on the left side.

Just seems to be weird, i'll wait until the 600 miles though, i'm just over 400 at the moment,
even if I took the side casing off I wouldn't be sure on what i'm looking for to be honest,
I noticed yesterday there was a sound when just riding, like a scrape or rubbing, again this all seems to be happening when riding,
not when it's on a stand and revved...

Hmm, do you notice a lag when accelerating from a complete stop?

I have both a lag(2-3 seconds) and a "shudder" that makes my windscreen vibrate as well when starting from a complete stop. Looking at my tachometer, the rpms seems to be "stuck" at around 3400-4400 rpms when I twist, then when it goes over that range, it suddenly shoots up to about 5000-7000 rpms very quickly. Given that I have 8500 pulling rpms at full throttle, I figure my weights are pretty much perfect for quick acceleration, other than that lag.

Only other possibility I haven't yet checked out was the clutch assembly. I noted a few other forums discussing clutch slippage due to oil or dust contaminating the clutch pads, or because the clutch bell glazed over(typically requires sanding). Still, I'm not sure if that's necessarily the case, since you'd expect rpms to shoot up if it was slipping, only without any forward movement(basically just revs up in place).

Might be worth a look though?

The shudder is a common ailement of the PCX, and as others pointed out to me recently on this forum, is often due to glazing of the clutch/belt due to being too gentle taking off from a standstill. I spent a few days twisting more fully, but not WOT and the judder mostly went away and the horrible whining noise I had at low mph went too.

Mines just a constant rattle when the throttles pulled, from a tiny twist to full, just whenever that throttle is turned, the rattle is there, it'll only go if I let go of the throttle if going down a hill or whatever...
but noticed it's getting worse, also a kind of rubbing noise when the throttle isn't pulled at all.

Is this rattle there when cruising at constant throttle?. I have a 1100 Yamaha on which I put some after market exhausts. This had 2 baffle options. One option rattled under acceleration and the other did not. I found that the rattle was due to it being impossible to tighten up the baffle sufficiently. Maybe you could take the exhaust off and give it a shake, see if something is loose.

It's there as soon as the throttle is pulled, even the slightest of a turn when riding, but it isn't there when the Bike is stopped and revved, only when actually riding...
and it isn't there when riding and the throttle is let go, it's only when riding and pulled...
this wasn't there when I first had the bike, it's come on gradually, which makes me think it might be something lose and obviously when riding and the vibration it's come loose more,
but, again, i'm not sure, and even taking the casing off the side, again, I wont really know what i'm looking for...
it does sound like the left side of the Bike though, not the right.
