Finally!! 12V socket installed under the seat! DIY!

Step one of customization 99% done! Complete with switch to prevent the battery from draining...







Just a bit of cosmetic rounding off to do around the socket itself, and then its done!

Havent tried yet. Sure i will be able to if i leave the visor a tad open as the socket is at height, but even If I cant I can still put it in the box on the back.

Just had a look and the helmet still fits in just fine.

Also saw that my front tire was loosing a slight bit of pressure, so pulled out the mini air compressor, plugged it into the new 12V under the seat and quickly inflated it myself Now she is almost set for the long roads!

Just a quick connect. Not a bad item to have wired up and available Should You ever need/want to plug in a battery maintainer. A must for me. But then, I don't ride anywhere near as much as others do here. Still, it can't hurt to have one. Hmm...can You now? That was the question

I have a 2015 PCX, I'm pretty sure the 2013 is the same. Here's mine. I also have the battery tender pigtail leads connected to the battery terminals.

I don't have a plastic push pin to lose Honda fixed that! My 2011 had that pushy pin, I broke it the day I added a pigtail to its battery. Now....The 2015 cover just snaps in place, no pin. Thank You Honda!

I lost my push pin but had a bag of them from when i owned my Burgman 400. They were smart enough to assemble the entire bike with those instead of tabs and screws. It would take me half as long to disassemble the Burgman as the pcx.

Not sure of the other years. But I just picked up a 2016 and it comes with one in the glove box. Also the glove box is HUGE. It fits my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with a case on it.

About the cubby...You got a Galaxy Note in there? That's good to know! I have an S4 to be upgraded soon, may look at the Note. Yes, the 2015 has a nice size cavity. Right now, I have a 16.9 oz bottle of water and small pepper spray in there. Fits no prob

I just got my new PCX and like the big glove box...but how do you use the power outlet as most chargers for phones which plug into the cigar lighter in a car are too bulky to fit in the PCX one...
I also use the Note 4
