Yes. 12V accessory socket. Cigarette type plug-in. Pic is of mine:
Note: Page 41, User manual states: "To prevent the battery run down or weak the battery, keep the engine running while drawing current from the socket. Set the headlight in the low beam. The battery run down or damage to the accessory socket cause result."Location, Year & Color - Please enter Yours today!

How do I get one? I have a 2015 PCX 125. I'm in Vietnam. I know folks have added it to the under seat area, but I want the stock factory unit.

Re: Do you use the 12v socket on your PCX?
That's probably because the pcx is way more expensive in europe and america than in vietnam. I payed here in Belgium 2990 euro for my new pcx 125cc 2015. But i've heard that the thai pcx has an alarm? Mine hasn't. Does anywone have an alarm on his pcx?johnnytraveler wrote:Here's what I get in Vietnam.

Yeah my special edition pcx cost 2,700 usd here in Vietnam. That includes vat (sales tax) and registration.glennix wrote:That's probably because the pcx is way more expensive in europe and america than in vietnam. Here's the remote (hence alarm) that came standard with the bike.

Is that reflective tape on your helmet, or is it some sort of light strip?WhiteNoise wrote:Yes. 12V accessory socket. Cigarette type plug-in. I have a Thai PCX in Thailand. I have an alarm and the 12 volt DC outlet and all the bells and whistles. Out the door (including all taxes, registration and plate fees, and two years of compulsory insurance) was roughly USD $2456.81glennix wrote:But i've heard that the thai pcx has an alarm? Re: Do you use the 12v socket on your PCX?
Yeah, vat on cars and bikes is way high here in Vietnam. Worse on cars, where the vat is 100% of the car value. My hyundai sonata is 60,000 usd here. It was a wonderful 27,000 usd car in the states, but it is so not worth 60k.wangsuda wrote:I have a Thai PCX in Thailand. I have an alarm and the 12 volt DC outlet and all the bells and whistles. Hi johnnyT!
Ha! My helmet (Shoei qwest) got in that picture. It surprised me! when it Popped Up in my glove box photoshoot!
That's a "Halo Reflective Helmet Band" http://www.reflectivedecals.com/haloebay.htm
A wide stretch reflective band that "simply" stretches around the base of your helmet. When any light hits it, It Pops! In my photo above, there was just a single 60watt garage ceiling light on plus the flash of my camera, and Look how that band glowed! Even at sunset this halo band Pops! Quite an effective and affordable form of added protection.
How durable and longlasting is the band? Well, it's been on that helmet for 4 or 5 years now and hasn't budged. Shines like new, no loss of Pop! It's in very good stretch condition. For the money? $13.00 plus S/H, I think it's definitely worth having. I just looked around the web and they are out of stock on many sites. Now that I found it, I am going to order another as a back-up
Besides...Halo's have a nice "Ring" to them
Cheers!
Just me (on my former 2011 PCX in Florida) and the Moo-Moos
Halo Reflective Band spiked by the gorgeous Sunset. Wow!

Whitenoise - which windshield do you have? I like it because it looks like it would help but isn't really large and awkward looking....nor does it look like it would slow down the PCX that much.

Re: Do you use the 12v socket on your PCX?
Hi Hooksta! The screen above is mounted on a 2011 PCX, (my former bike) with a Givi D322ST mid height clear screen. As you can see, "I can" see over the top (the screens's rim). I prefer that, and others like it above eye's level.
Now, like you I own a 2015 PCX
I recently received my 2015 Givi D1136ST mid height clear screen after waiting for it to be restocked online at http://www.revzilla.com
Both the 2011 and 2014/2015 mid height screens look about the same in shape and dimensions. If they changed at all, it's minimal. I haven't installed mine yet. Soon though.
Here's a pic of the 2014/2015 mid height and tall screens side-by-side (for your eye pleasure
)
If you have more questions, "Fire Away" Cheers!
BTW, The smoked versions don't seem to be available yet. In time, I guess.

Your Note does not require a 'chipped' charger, and so will charge from any 12V DC source.DrewJW wrote:Looking for a compatible USB charger for my Galaxy Note 2, so I can use it for GPS on longer journeys? what is everyone using? 2015 PCX.
These adapters work great to charge it with a USB to micro-USB cable

And is compact enough to fit in the Accessory Socket compartment
