New PCX owner hopefully soon

Post by Bengaz »

Just would like to say hello to the forum and would kindly ask the forum for a little help in my purchase of a new PCX.

I am from the UK and will be using the PCX purely from the back of my motorhome to nip back and forth, not too far.

I will nearly always be travelling with my wife on the pillion.

Would it be wiser to go for the imported 150cc or stick with the UK spec 125cc. Is there a big difference in power or would I be better if possible adding a bigger bore kit like a lot have done to their 125 to give that little extra?

Would insurance be a problem getting insured for an imported 150cc in the UK? I know already that the 150cc isn't listed on the price comparison websites...

Thanks greatly in advance for help.

PS. I'm from the tuning monkey bike scene few years back so am fine with modding the bike if necessary!

Hi
I use mine mainly from the motorhome too. Mines an all stock 125 and pulls the two of us just fine and dandy. You said yourself, you wont be going to far on it, just local stuff whilst away in the van, like what we do ;)
