Ordered a Forza 125...to replace my PCX!
Afternoon all...thought I better sign up-been reading these forums since taking delivery of my PCX 125 in July last year. It's one of the first of the 2015 model year, in matt grey with the LED adornments. It was my first foray onto two wheels thanks to a change of career and subsequent requirement to park easily at the railway station.
What can I say? It's a cracking piece of kit-super MPG (I average 121mpg according to the trip computer), fun to ride, reasonable at sheltering me from the wind/rain with the genuine Honda tall screen and just so easy to get about on.
Disappointments with the PCX have been the requirement for frequent services (I've so far done just under 6,000 miles in 9 months and needed three services) and the rear tyre wore out in 5,000 miles. I had it replaced with a cheaper (and apparently longer lasting) Michelin City Grip, which also seems to perform better than the standard IRC tyres.
I saw Honda had announced the new Forza a couple of months ago which instantly caught my eye. I've been fancying a more "grown up" scooter but unfortunately I'm still on a UK CBT licence (full car but can only ride up to 125cc on two wheels), so took one for a test ride when my local dealer got their demonstrator last week.
It's best described as a "PCX Plus"-everything the PCX does, the Forza does better. It's faster top end (77mph and still going on the Forza-my PCX hit its limiter at 66mph), more assured at high speed, more comfortable, looks better (I love the white/blue colour combo), handles more crispy and very usefully, has double the storage space. I test rode it in the pouring rain, and compared to the PCX the weather protection was awesome.
So...I've ordered one. Hopefully it should be with the dealer this week! £3,995 is a fair wedge for a 125cc scooter but it really does feel like a quality product-hopefully I won't outgrow it like I have done with the PCX. I use it more and more on faster roads and it started to feel a little out of it's depth-to be fair to it, I'm taking it out of it's depth and it coped better than I could have expected!
Pictures to follow once I take delivery of the Forza.

There are a fair few there-I come to MK city centre a fair bit for shopping. I usually park at Hitchin.scottyb wrote:They certainly look a nice piece of kit especially the White/Blue colours.

Re: Ordered a Forza 125...to replace my PCX!
Had an email from the dealer today to say the Forza wasn't in their delivery (no real surprise) so now it will be next week at the earliest.
I've ordered heated grips too as I have painful memories of cold hands during the winter with the PCX! However the top box has stayed off the spec sheet for now-I want to see if I really do need it now it's got a bigger storage area under the seat.

If only Honda inc knew where scotland is....
Re: Ordered a Forza 125...to replace my PCX!
They know fine where Scotland is, they sell thousands of cars and bikes here.
Anywho, the Honda heated grips are notorious for being nowhere near hot enough.

Genuine Honda grips-I'll be the judge of how good they are once I've got the bike.
Re: Ordered a Forza 125...to replace my PCX!
I've yet to see a single positive review of them.

To alert the OP to the fact he is being ripped off for overpriced shit and give him the chance to cancel the order save a load of cash and get better heated grips which actually work.itcaptainslow wrote: Why comment then?

Forget the heated grips. Change out of your tartan frock and wear some knickers. Live a little
