I need to change my rear tire on my dirt bike, I might try this tomorrow. I'll report back with how it goes.

getting time to replace my front tire... I usually pay a guy $20 who has all the proper tools, but this seems like it could save me some cash.

Couldn't get it to work on my dirt bike, between having a tube and how ridiculously thick the tire was, I just took it to a shop.

Decent tyre levers should sort out a tubed off road tyre

Once had a police motorcyclist pull over and fix a puncture by hand at the side of the road. I thought he was going to stop me for riding off road on the land next to me. Top bloke. Fixed it without really saying a word and then sped off leaving half a dozen spotty teenagers in awe

I wonder if a G clamp is a simple solution to breaking the bead.

I put my wheel on the lawn, put the blade of a garden spade on the bead and jumped on the spade.
Bead off in less than half a jiffy.
Tyre removed from rim with Draper 450mm tyre lever.
