Trailering a Forza

Post by Gnarg »

I ordered a new Forza which will be arriving this week and need to trailer it to its new home.
Anyone had any experience trailering a Forza?
If so are there rear attachment points u would suggest attaching soft loops to?
Will handle bar Canyon Dancers work with the front flaring? Also if some one is using Canyon Dancers which size would you suggest 28 inch or 32 inch? Any issues with bending the hanndle bars using Canyon dancers with a Forza? Any other trailering products anyone would suggest that work well with the Forza?

Any other tips or experience you can share regarding securing and transporting a Forza by trailer would be greatly appreciated. I searched the Forza forum before posting but dident come accross anything.

Okay, so....Are you just asking for ways of securing your Forza? What type of trailer will you be using?

Ok i updated my profile. Sorry i struggled a little bit trying to register with a iphone so i missed those questions. I built a Habor Frieght flat trailer which is often used for motorcycle transport. It will have a pit boss wheel chauk postioned at the front and various tie down points.

Ok good :P we've got more info to go by. You've got the trailer.

So now we give a Big Shoutout to "Forza Owner's for Help!"

(I have a PCX, so it's smaller and lighter than your Forza. Mine fits on a Versa Haul hitch carrier. But enough of that. Back to securing your soon to be take-home :) )

Don't know how many folks have trailered their's, no worries they're a smart lot! So, Hang in there...

Big Shout at to all on this forum since i have already asorbed a ton of very valuable information shared by its members on several topics. Since i am buying this Forza without the benifit of every seeing one in person or test riding one this purchase is a bit of a leap of faith. After reading a lot here i felt a lot better about ordering a 2015 ABS Forza site on seen.

You really should sit on one first. How you fit in the seat is the most important thing.
Other rides
Yamaha MT-01, Yamaha BT1100, Yamaha WR250R, Ducati 900 GTS, Honda VFR 750FV, Honda Forza 350

I agree. I wish my Honda dealer had one to sit on. From the reviews i have read my size 5-8 165 the fit should work out. I have read where some taller riders perhaps 6 foot plus have found the riding positon a little less comfortable for their height.

This applies to a PCX on a hitch hauler, but the same logic applies: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=319

You don't need Canyon Dancers.

Nice Harbor Freight trailer. Mine's going on 6 years strong now, you can't beat the value. Make sure you have a long ramp, the ground clearance on the Forza is fairly low because of its length.
Currently ride: Nothing right now - mostly mountain biking with my boys until they're old enough to ride
Previously rides: 2011 Honda PCX 125, 2005 V-Strom DL650, 1974 Vespa Ciao, 2011 Honda PCX 170 (tons of mods - takegawa 170cc big bore kit, gears, etc), 1996 Honda Nighthawk 250, 1987 Honda Spree, 2000 KTM 125SX, 2003 Honda Silverwing, 2007 Genuine Buddy 125, 1998 Honda PC800, 2008 Buddy 125 (white), 2008 Buddy 125 (red), 2001 Honda Reflex, 1987 Honda Elite, 1988 Honda Spree, 2007 Yamaha Vino, 2007 Honda Metro, 2x 125cc pure-chinesium dirt bikes
