Accessories in Thailand - rear shocks

Post by BobS »

Installed some YSS shocks - G-Euro offset, XXL rated.

Cost in Thailand - $110 USD

Easy enough to install, EXCEPT that the storage box has to be raised a couple inches to get the top of the shock off or on the bolt. That involves removing the two parts of the grab rail.

............. Which involves removing most of the body plastic, a frustrating and time consuming task which shouldn't be done by the novice without a detailed service manual ( which I have ). Too much effort for moi. :(

You only have to remove the two parts of the grab rail - the plastic and the metal. Once you do that, you can raise the back end of the storage box enough to get the shock in and out.
