Enjoy the bike. I guess you are located in Missouri. Does the 150 have all the USA mods like the 125, ie indicators on stalks and idle/stop inhibitted? Would like to see a bike photo.
To answer as many questions as possible. I'm in the US in MO. The PCX 150 just came out here, I purchased the second one at the dealership, there are more on order.

As to the difference between the 125 typhoon and the pcx give me a week and I'll let you guys know the differences. I can tell you just from my test drive that the PCX's fuel injection was an eye opener for me. The typhoon is carbed so I had to crank it a couple of times to get it going. The PCX takes off from a full stop with no hiccups can't say the same for the typhoon she would start off sluggish.
I'll have more intel after I commute with her a few times.
TAZ- It is required by the USA Department Of Transportation (DOT) that the PXC (along with ALL motorcycles) have turn signals on stalks. The DOT also deemed the idle stop feature unsafe for use on USA roads, so it will not be an option on any stock machine sold in the USA
Don't think they have to be on stalks, instead the indicator is required to be a minimum distance from the headlamp.
Honda uses stalks on the PCX to meet this requirement.
Other bikes with larger bodywork have their indicators built in.
The US objection to idle stop stems from concerns over the potential for lurching forwards when the engine is restarted in an automatic transmission car.
Lurching forwards when the throttle is opened is EXACTLY what you want to happen when a PCX is restarted

No problem! Enjoy your PCX! And gn2 - from my recollection, every new bike i've seen in the US have had stalks.. but a minimum distance from the headlamp could be what the requirement actually is.. Just cant think of anything stock that has integrated signals from the get-go
Let me say the typhoon 125 had its purpose it got me addicted to scootering. But it's like a pinto compared to the mustangesque vibe I get from the 150.
I didn't get a chance to ride as much today as I'd prefer but tomorrow just a few hours away so that will be rectified.
I took her around and brought her up to 50mph which on the typhoon could be a chore, as it top speed is around 60 ish. For the PCX I felt like I still had to "rein" her in a bit when she was going 50, that girl wants to fly or so it feels like.
She handles really well at slow speeds as well, I had no issue with cornering going 15mph or 40mph. My only concern and I think it's a get to know you type of concern is the braking. On the typhoon I knew I needed to start breaking early, on this gal if I break early like with the typh I stop way too soon. So I tried stopping a bit later and almost missed the stop. After those two interesting experiences I think I may have gotten the hang of how she stops versus how the typh stopped.
I've never owned a sports car, always been the pinto kinda gal, so this is a very new sensation and experience.

The Piaggio's tires are wider so the ride seemed sturdier?
But the handling of the PCX is so whisper light and intuitive. I just have to hint of where I wish to turn and I'm leaning into the corner. On the typhoon I needed to constantly be on the throttle whereas on the PCX it feels like the scoot just knows what I need. I trying to put into words what I'm experiencing with it and failing miserably.
The PCX just handles so differently from the Typhoon. Not better really just so differently. I guess it's the difference between sport and sedan?
