Anyone here know makes the Monokey line of top cases superior to the Monolock line?
Trying to determine if the Monokey is worth an extra $60 to $100 dollars a case.
Thx

I don't buy the "not for high speed use" bit. It wasn't a problem on my 650 Kawasaki.

The difference is in the rated loading.
The cheap ones can carry 3kg and the expensive ones 10kg.

Re: Monokey vs. Monolock
There are older posts on this forum about differences / benefits, try searching for monokey and a list will show up i.e.
WhiteNoise wrote:... I thought I'd take this opportunity to add in a Givi YouTube explaining the "Difference between the Monokey and Monolock System."
It can be a bit confusing.

Re: Monokey vs. Monolock
I actually have had the opportunity to touch both of the two case types. The Monokey case is thicker and has a better lock. It is really nice, but because most scooter riders don't need that high of quality just for riding around town, they invented the less expendive one, the Monolock. I guess it would depend on what you feel you need the case for.
