Just got my new PCX 150.......

Just picked up my "Retirement Present" last Sat. - a new 2015 PCX 150! After riding for a week, I am very pleased with everything about this scoot - solid build, great gas mileage for the first 65 miles I've put on, good handling & a sweet, slick appearance. I'll be moving to Las Vegas in a couple months to enjoy the "last" chapter in my life, so between the new PCX & a Senior Citizen bus pass, I'll be set - ha! Just wanted to intro myself & I look forward to learning about this scoot here on the forum........ Jack

Thanks for the comments, guys!! Yep.....helmet law in Nevada. That's ok - had always worn one with my cycles earlier in life & wearing one here in Kansas with my PCX (no helmet law in Kansas). Picked up a relatively inexpensive open-face AFX FX43 for now ($75) - in white, of course - ha! After getting to Vegas, thinking about picking up an AGV Blade.....sweet looking scooter helmet with great reviews....we'll see.

Now have 84 miles on the PCX since getting it 7/11 & my MPG is at 111.1 on the gauge - crazy!! Also, the brake lock wouldn't set after getting home from picking it up in MO, so did a quick & easy rear brake adjustment - works now. Lots of fun so far!!!

I'm going to have to look up the helmet you speak of, and yes for some reason the dealers don't adjust the rear drum brake for you. Kinda telling that they don't really give the PCX a good inspection out of the crate. And because you were quick to fix your brake you sound like one who can do his own maintenance. That will be very satisfying for you and thrifty. Let me know if you need a little more getty up out of the PCX, there are a couple products that take it from what the world demanded it to have for fuel economy and what we Americans can afford in gasoline verses performance. I let that pony run right away and haven't regretted it.

If you read into it, you'll see it modeled by member AzRocketPcx. He likes his. I think it's the perfect "PCX scooter Looking Lid!" I've been trying a long time not to buy it, (safety thing and all ).
