Any Large Ice Tea or Ice Coffee fits nicely into your open gas tank cover and the hook will hold it securely in place...

Not the way I ride, it won't.

2013 Silver Wing ABS (Black)
1971 BMW R75/5 (White)
Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

You just need a super-long straw and you can drink and drive! (in the most nonalcoholic sense, of course)

Here is another view... The spring in the tank cover and the position of the hook really holds it in place quite well. And yes, I like that super long straw idea!

Just avoid sudden acceleration or you could end up with a wet crotch.

Someone needs to incorporate a cup holder into a tank bag... HEY did you fade blue paint into that windscreen? That is some fancy camera work if you didn't paint the windscreen. Maybe there are no navy blue PCX's and you painted the whole bike, what's happening here

I had too many problems when I first tried the gas cap cup holder so I just bought a cup holder for a bicycle and it works great. In fact, I can drink while riding quite easily.

I like the RAM self leveling cup holder. It's not cheap but it is worth it. See picture. I like the fact that the holder leans with the bike so drinks don't spill even when cup is full.
Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t6StksXA5I
Amazon has it here: http://www.amazon.com/Ram-Mount-Self-Le ... 5S9S9NAPFE
That is the holder only so you would need the attachment to the bike.
There is a package with a handle bar attachment here: http://www.amazon.com/Mount-RAM-B132R-D ... 6X7KZGYPQ3

Quite a piece of engineering, but butt-ugly IMHO. Personally, I'm not coordinated enough to ride and drink (out of a can at least) at the same time. I just pull over and take a break when I'm thirsty. Besides, I usually wear a full-face helmet and it can get messy drinking out of a can.

You are right. Not beautiful at all but very practical. I like drinking my coffee on my way to work, I have a flip visor on my full helmet and also a modular helmet so I can zip away during stop lights.Bash On! wrote:Quite a piece of engineering, but butt-ugly IMHO. Take a look at this! I use to carry water using the petrol bin on my 2011 PCX along with a-Long straw. Up under my chinny-chin-chin of my full face lid that straw would go so I could drink without removing my helmet. I drink a lot while riding, and.....> That's a good thing!!

I now use a bar mounted bottle holder that maddiedog's friend linked us all to awhile back (off of yes, good ol Amazon) See pic.
Hydrate Folks!! Can't stress that enough. Stay In The Zone......."Feeling Groovy"
