Usually you get a year's worth with a new one.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

I believe your warranty is two years, the cover for breakdown is one year. Most insurance in the UK give you 90days and you can extend that.

Worth checking when you do shop for breakdown cover that it is get you home cover, and not just dump you at the nearest garage cover.

AA cover is 2 years since 1st reg, so if the dealer registered it and you buy it 'new' out the showroom after 3 month post registering, you get 21 months AA. this was true '14, not sure if Honda have changed it with the new bikes.
You should have got (or get sent in the post) and official credit card sized Honda/AA card with your own number on it - if not ask the dealer why not.

My cars are all covered by 'Auto Aid' cheap & cheerful recovery for a small fee here in the UK, very efficient too.

They include motorbikes in my cover too, but strangely only above 125cc!!!

Must get a big bore kit.... ;)

That's not good if true - for the price you pay for Honda, and considering the Forza/PCX have had their share of problems over the years, I am beginning to think it may be wise to invest in other makes of scoot. You seem to get more bang for your buck and they seem to be reliable.
That said, Honda's site still lists Hondacare breakdown cover for 2yr's for bikes/scooters from new - just added cost to extend to europe for breakdown (normal warranty and manufacturing faults covered seperately)

Cheers for the info iceman, phoned Honda UK today and the lovely girl on the phone couldn't find my bike on their database using reg number and vin number, but she says that I should get 2 years warranty including free breakdown for 2 years. Seems a bit strange that they couldn't find my bike on their records as I bought it on 3rd July 2015 from a Honda dealer, I received the v5 from DVLA about 2 weeks ago.

She says she will escalate an email to Honda head office and get them to look into it and get back to me. But the bonus is the girl at Honda was lovely and very helpful, but surely with all the electronic technology something shouldn't go missing. In the mean time if I break down I'll just need to push it home.

The dealer should fill in a form with you and a few weeks later a Honda Care credit card CD should pop through your door - you will need this when you call for assistance.

Here is the email reply I received this afternoon

Dear Mr ************

thank you for contacting Honda UK.

We do confirm that your bike is covered for the duration of the warranty.

I am not sure why the AA could not find you on their system.

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Is that an answer that would help anyone, I don't think so, looks like I will be back onto them tomorrow for the third time. And then to the dealer who told me 3 weeks ago that Honda don't give breakdown cover FOC anymore.

That should have read >after the dealer has filled in forms with you as the owner and submitted those details onto the system or sent them off, a few weeks later a Honda Care letter with a credit card sized care card should pop through your door - you will need this when you call for assistance.<

I've just put a deposit down on a second hand PCX first registered in Nov 2014. I presume the AA cover transfers to me along with the remainder of the warranty ??

Well I went into the dealer who I bought the scooter from 3 weeks ago and he still maintains that there is no breakdown cover FOC with a new scooter, I told him that Honda UK says that yes there is and showed him the Honda website, he does remeber it in the past but thoght that it had stopped. Anyway he is going to check it out and get back to me, he says it will be good to know for other customers.
