TopBox Plate

Post by PeteCX125 »

I just noticed that my topbox plate appears to be missing the plastic cover bit, covering the criss-cross mould..

Should all topbox plates have a cover here? It does look like there are impressions to allow for one, but no screw holes to screw 1 down.

I guess I should get on to my dealer who fitted it!

That looks the same as my mount. Which did come with a cover, Makes it just that little bit harder for people to start taking it off lol.

After asking me several times if I was sure I got the plate fitted with them ('we would never forget to put the cover on..')
no, of course you wouldnt...
Reluctantly they gave me a new cover. :P

There's a "how to fit a top box" on you tube for a PCX and it clearly shows a plate being fitted
