Hey guys, been reading through the site for a bit, but i have a different issue from what most seem to have with the clutch.
Mine was doing fine (bought with 16000 miles) now closing in on 17000 and the bike is very hard to push around when off, when on it squeals bad till you get rolling with no brake, and wants to go as soon as it starts.
Im taking it to my work (MC shop) tomorrow to use air tools to pull the clutch as i believe the clutch has somehow let go of a spring and possibly wedged itself behind the pad causing this locked clutch issue.
It does still turn with force by hand without turning the motor over, however when running its not safe to ride and doing more damage to the (likely original) belt.
As even if the belt got tight the clutch should allow free spin, so i suspect the clutch.
anyone have a similar issue with wisdom to share?
13 pcx 17k miles, clutch is locking up, no nuetral.

Sounds like the inner moving part (that's driven by the sliders) isn't retracting fully. Maybe sticking on the slider/bushing? Should be a fairly straightforward fix. Is that 16G's all on an OE clutch/variator assy? If so, that's pretty good service life. You got the last miles before having to do a "flying" start

If the bike was ridden really hard, the stock belt might have narrowed to the point that clutch engagement is being adversely affected. Your clutch shoes might be completely worn after that many miles if much of it was stop and go traffic.
I'd replace the belt, get the clutch out and see if the clutch shoes are worn or if a spring has snapped and is affecting engagement.

I'll go with broken clutch spring. One of the pads is loose and it's locking up the drum as soon as wheel spins.

My mechanic said mine was about half worn at 15k but there's not too much stop start in my commute

Interesting enough, she runs great again with most certainly stock belt, clutch and tires,
Found the large nut behind the main clutch hub had come off and was locking up the variator top the outer clutch hub. Put it back together and works great like it did before!
Still thinking about the upgraded clutch though.

Funny too, i was watching video of a guy needing to use special tools to assemble the rear variator but i did it easily with 2 hands, then the bench vise at work to tighten it like another video showed, 20 mins total.
Got lucky though i stopped my son from riding it just in time when i noticed it, the thread were just starting to wear where the nut threads on, otherwise i would have had to replace the whole assembly.
Anyone had the clutch from eBay? suppose to have a higher stall speed? think it could help with wheelies
LOL
