I am, I have some 18g sliders on order. Honestly though, I am satisfied with the 12g rollers. Acceleration is very brisk.robertinino wrote:branyers
why don't you try dr pulley sliders with malossi?

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
You'd think so, but I also ran 10g rollers in my PCX with similar results. I liked the way they performed. Gets you right into the powerband.
Someone told me 100mph is attainable on the Forza. I just wanna know how.

Down hill and flat on you belly with a 12 Bf wind in your back will maybe bring 100mp/h, or something like this,

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
how is the acceleration time 0-100 km with malossi and stock rollers?
De pulley in original variator 0-100km is about 10 seconds......

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
The TechPulley clutch has arrived and is mounted, all fits well and first (short test run) impression feels good, grip moment of the clutch with full throttle has moved up 1000rpm, and easy ridding is still very doable.
Today I will do a good run with the Gopro mounted, this will be with the stock 21g rollers advised by TechPulley, later I will put back in the 18g sliders.

Whats in the box + some goodies (it's the idea thats count
)

Stock clutch

Stock vs 15% spring

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
The stiffer contra spring will raise the pulling rpm of any given set of weights so the 21gm might now act as the 18 gm did with the stock spring. My "1500 rpm" spring for the PCX was actually 40% stiffer than stock. It caused a slight loss of top speed and fuel economy due to the increased belt tension so I took it back out.

The video's with the TechPulley clutch
Boring
21g stock rollers / yellow CS springs / white PS springs / 15% TechPulley compression spring
Also boring

Till now the best setup ever
18g Dr.Pulley sliders / black CS springs / white PS springs / 15% TechPulley compression spring

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
Hi Mario thank you very much for your video and job......
Your last configuration: 18g Dr.Pulley sliders / black CS springs / white PS springs / 15% TechPulley compression spring is so cool, could you please tell me your sensations between this new configuration and the previous configuration 18 dr pulley sliders on the original variator.

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
Hi Robert,
Both (all) setup's are with the original variator, the last setup feels the most sportier/responsive off all setup's that I have experienced till now, especially the in between time's 20-40 / 40-60 / 60-80

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
Mario
so the 18 g dr pulley + new clutch is much better ( more responsive) that 18 g dr pulley and original clutch. 0-100 is less than 10 seconds?
Next step will be the air filter.....
What I m thinking is if change variator with Autisa could give the same result...

Why don't you try the Autisa Robert so we can compare both setups, love to see your results.

mario, this is what the Autisia responsable said to me by email:
I must inform you that we have not yet this variator ready. We are finishing the bell mold. As soon as it will be ready we will update on the website.......
