That's the point I have been trying to make for years. All long wearing tires slide. Without a duplicate bike and another rider to swap, it is impossible to compare tires directly. Maybe the Pirelli's are a sticky 3,000 mile tire for those that want ultimate grip. I ride too many miles to have tires like that. My IRC rear lasted 10,000 miles and I have 9,000 miles on the Michelin rear and it is still good. The Original IRC front is still on at 19,000.
