The marking in packaging printed as follow:
YSS V-Series
TB220-315P-05-11-XD
Hybrid-S220 PCX Chrome/Chrome
220 is the shock type number and 315 is the shock size in mm
and Chrome/Chrome being the color of the shock,
other color option being Black-Red but I choose Chrome
because from my previous experience on other scooter with
red painted shock absorber the paint will easily get scratch .
I thought about getting the YSS "hybrid" shocks, do you think they are any lighter(weight) than the stock shocks?
When I install it I'm not measure the weight, but I feel the YSS have more weight due to the more firmer material, it also
feel more stiff and sturdier if you compare it with PCX original shock.
I choose The V-Series because it is more cheaper than other YSS with separate tube,
since it combine the gas and liquid in one tube thus reducing the material and design cost.
But the most important thing is, it fit with my riding style and road condition.
My advice is if your road condition isn't as harsh as mine you may not need to replace the original shock,
some PCX owner in vietnam hack the original shock by adding ring plate in the bottom of shock spring
to make it more stiffer.
