OH! a mystery, I can't wait for this one to get sorted. The last good bit of detective work ended with a member telling the guy his confusion regarding the reason his motor oil looked so dark and thick was that it wasn't motor oil at all... he drained the final drive reservoir and topped off the engine oil.

It could be a couple of things. The battery could be low. Does it reset when the ignition is turned on or when you start it? If it's only when you start it it may be that the battery voltage is dropping below a certain level that causes a reset of the instruments.

It could be also a faulty clock of course.

You should really take it to your supplying dealer as it should be under warranty but you could charge the battery first to try it if possible.

Do you have a multimeter? I'd check the voltage on the battery, if that's ok I'd ask the dealer for further help.

Hi niki.... :P Welcome aboard the forum(s) and congrats on buying a 2015 model.
About your clock issue, are you Absolutely sure you followed the owner's manual in setting it? Maybe you missed pushing a button or something?
Hmm...I remember another thread about this :? Let me look, maybe it will help.

Okay, found it here: http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f ... +set+clock

Post back here and let us know, okay? ;) Good luck!

hi there to all of you,and thaks for your replies,to be honest the pcx is a friends of mine, i own a pcx 125 but it is 2011 model. so anyway... the dealer came in contact with us and said that might a cable in the instrument panel is not connected well and that is why the clock resets everytime we take off the keys and switch off the bike. my personal opinion is like yours that it might be the low volt of the battery...allthrough the bike start up with no problem and lags. we will take to dealer service and i will keep you informed for whatever it is.

i must say that the diff between mine nad the 2015 model of me best friend is huge especially in quality materials but that is another subject!!

Cheers Nikki and good luck to you and friend at the dealer.
I agree there are differences between the 2011 and 2014/2015 PCX. I had both and know those differences. Given the choice of picking one, the 2015 wins hands down.

Glad you will be back to let us know what they find wrong.......Tick-tock :D
