Not necessarily, lots of Hondas involve messing with shims for valve adjustments. The clearances might not be the same either.

I'd see if you could find a service manual for your bike, just to make sure you don't accidentally misadjust them.
Currently ride: Nothing right now - mostly mountain biking with my boys until they're old enough to ride
Previously rides: 2011 Honda PCX 125, 2005 V-Strom DL650, 1974 Vespa Ciao, 2011 Honda PCX 170 (tons of mods - takegawa 170cc big bore kit, gears, etc), 1996 Honda Nighthawk 250, 1987 Honda Spree, 2000 KTM 125SX, 2003 Honda Silverwing, 2007 Genuine Buddy 125, 1998 Honda PC800, 2008 Buddy 125 (white), 2008 Buddy 125 (red), 2001 Honda Reflex, 1987 Honda Elite, 1988 Honda Spree, 2007 Yamaha Vino, 2007 Honda Metro, 2x 125cc pure-chinesium dirt bikes

To date I have had five services done on my PCX for a total of £550ish.
Add that to the initial purchase price of £2270 and it's still cheaper than a Vespa would have been over the same timeframe and mileage.
Moving on, now that my warranty is due to expire in the next couple of months I will be doing my own servicing which will cost practically nothing.

£550. For how many miles?

Last service was the 10,000 mile one.
Since February this year my usage has significantly increased and I have been doing roughly 1000 miles a month.
That £550 includes hire of some very tasty motorcycles, last time I had a brand spanking new NC700X in red with less than 300 miles on the clock.

And how many warranty claims have you made?

Hope it's a big one after paying £550 for 10,000 miles of servicing

That's twice as much as my Audi cost

Your Audi didn't cost £2270 to purchase though.
In a way you're right, £275 annual servicing bill for a £2270 vehicle is pretty ludicrous.
I was happy to pay that price for the warranty and convenience and the fun days riding big bikes, but after October it will be strictly d-i-y.

And to be fair to the dealer almost £100 of the £550 is VAT. Lets not go there...... :D
