Only one of those could be considered vintage, the two Ducatis are from the mid 70s

Changing the subject slightly. What's a 1982 Yamaha rs125 Dx like? Rubbish or OK for a project?

RS125 (single cylinder, wire wheels) was a single pot basic commuter and a bit dull.

RD125 (twin cylinder, cast wheels) a proper ring ding ding smoker producing around 18hp and capable of about 80mph.

If you are going to be spending time and cash on an 80s Yamaha project, better to choose something a bit more interesting.
Like an SRX6 for example.

It doesn't have to be a yam. I'm looking for a winter project I can use in the spring to get a bit practice on a clutch gear bike before going for the direct access.

Unfortunately. It's just a stop gap until I hopefully get a full licence.

If you want something with a Jap badge, this one looks like a minter

as does this one

Chances are you would get all your money back on one of those wee Suzis when you're done with it.
