Hey guys,
Lidl have their motorcycle gear offers on again. It starts today and you can pick up many items pretty cheaply.
Obviously quality isnt as high you would like but for the price it makes for some good backup equipment.

Re: Cheap gear (UK ONLY)
the wife picked up a few items for me, the performance base layers seem really good quality.
I even got a flip up helmet to use as a backup, quality seems good, even comes with a spare visor, padding set & bag. the fit isnt as good as my HJC but for £40 its more comfortable than most helmets Ive tried on in the past
The socks fit nice and feel like they're padded in certain areas. The gloves didnt fit right at all so they will be going back.
Dont get me started on the disc lock, wont even fit through my brake disc! lol

my chain lock is from aldi i think, pretty much the same as lidl, seems to be exactly the same as the really expensive oxford ones and was only a tenner.

Re: Cheap gear (UK ONLY)
I have a plastic back protector from Lidl that I used quite a bit. Didn't bother in the winter though as it wouldn't fit in my jacket with the extra layers of clothing

Try Screwfix for some cheap gear that is meant for building work, but it is also good for cyclist and motorcyclists too. They have protective glasses that you can get with clear or tinted lenses, kevlar reinforced trousers and gloves. Although the gloves are yellow colour!!. http://www.screwfix.com

Hi folks,
Defenitely not spam. I suppose a phrase with the word screw in it might have had people wondering what kind of site it was!!! Sorry about that
Those of you in North America could try Canadian Tire for some good cold weather gear. they have good snowmobile stuff.
