Re: How-To: Install a Trunk
Thank you for the rack DIY. Very helpful.
I took a slightly different route for the holes, in case it helps anyone.
I didn't have a 7/8" drill bit. Some calculating showed that 3/4" is also very close to 20mm.
I used a Dremel tool with a small sanding drum to fine tune the holes a tiny bit larger after the 3/4" bit. Instead of the round file used in the tutorial. Either way works, just depends what you have on hand.
In particular, the part about removing the little white clips was helpful. Much easier to test fit repeatedly that way before final install.

Re: How-To: Install a Trunk
Hi, great tutorial!
I bought a 2011 PCX and someone has already drilled out the wholes in the back. The front two close to the seat are the same as the ones in the images. However the ones in the back are the smaller wholes next to the big ones. Does anybody know of a trunk model that will fit in these wholes?

Do you have any pictures of the holes?
