GIVI B360 on my PCX
OK, I'm done and the PCX is fully outfitted
(until summer returns here around March and the lap blanket comes off).
I got a GIVI B360 (36 liter) top case and the GIVI SR1136 mounting kit.
What it looked like coming out of the box... What it looks like with the husband's size L Shoei FF inside... What it looks like from the back (improved by some white reflective tape)... What it all looks like from the side...

Are those red sections on the case lights, and if so, are they easy to wire in? Does it seem durable, able to hold a heavy load of groceries?
I may be goin' to hell in a bucket, but at least I'm enjoyin' the ride...

This is the B36 and you can't put lights behind its "reflectors"db22 wrote:Are those red sections on the case lights, and if so, are they easy to wire in? Does it seem durable, able to hold a heavy load of groceries?
I did spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to decide
whether to wire in a lighted box or just put reflective tape on the B36 and finally went with the B36.
(There is a very similar Givi B37 ( http://www.giviusa.com/givi-products/ca ... ack-detail ) that has an optional light kit option.)
These are pretty heavy duty cases and they should work fine for groceries, although this will change the scooter's handling some.
They also click (and lock) on and off easily, should you want the original handling back.
However, I strongly suspect that the GIVI SR1136 mounting kit is sturdier than the Honda mount,
so I would recommend that for groceries.

I like it! And it Looks like a good size for the scoot. Funny, I was never a fan of the top box look (sticking "out there"), but now, with so many of you sporting them, it's grown on me.
DR, putting the reflective tape on is an excellent idea. How about on the sides of the case?
You're probably planning on doing that anyway

Yep, top boxes look pretty duffus,
although I think this one looks better than most.
It's mainly for hiding my helmet in, while the scooter is parked.
I'm still mulling over reflectors for the sides.
Currently, I have the very effective reflectors on the lap blanket,
but that will be coming off soon.

DR, have you looked at windshields for your scoot? Mine is also a 2015 (in winter storage, sadly) and it seems that the mounting changed for the 2015 model year. National Cycle has a sturdy-looking shield, but the comments I have read here seem to indicate that it fits up to 2014, but not 2015. The GIVI shield fits, but there is an online report of it cracking easily.
Where in SC are you located? My dad was a native of Hartsville, in the northeast of the state.

Hiya, DB22
I haven't looked at windshields because I'm pretty short and ride in the rain
and am worried about having to look through it all, if I get a tall enough shield to do any good.
It's tempting on the PCX, though. You certainly do feel some wind once you're above 35 mph.
I'm in Columbia, but not native born.
I think we might have seen a bit of Hartsville when we visited the Sand Hills State Park.
Nice country out there.

Beware of Paint Damage
I decided to take off the lap blanket briefly to polish the scooter
and found some damage to the paint from the blanket rubbing near the handlebars. I did a sloppy job of protecting that spot with some of the transparent plastic that came with the lap blanket (they did not explain where to put it in the instructions) I'll fix things up more neatly once the cold season is over.

I sent an email inquiry to National Cycle, and they replied that they are working on a new model windshield for the 2015 and later PCX150.db22 wrote:DR, have you looked at windshields for your scoot? Re: GIVI B360 on my PCX
That's cool, Db22
My husband (who is taller than me and refuses to ride in the rain)
will probably be getting his own PCX soon and will most likely need one
His gear isn't that effective and I doubt he'll enjoy the increased wind
And to all... sorry about the lap blanket post, I meant to put that somewhere else
