pcx 125
Hi everyone
2 days ago I had accident on my pcx 125
Car was overtaking me on corner and hit my handlebars and I come off the bike and slide on road but my bike went along the road and hit rocky wall and balanced on road. Its was pretty fast so exhaust is broke and aluminum bit what holding exhaust and suspension was hold on 2 bolts and that aluminium rise is broke is it part of block engine ? Can its be fixed (repaid) or changed ? Can this bike still go back on road ? Or its rideoff? Cuz engine does not start.

Re: pcx 125
did you get injured?
since it was obviously the car drivers fault- can't you just have it fixed by a professional and have his/her insurance pay for it?

Dude that is more then just the exhaust, from one of those pictures it looks like the swinging arm has lost a bolt! I would be going through insurance and seeking legal council if I was you at this point.

Glad your not injured. Theres a very good chance that they will write that off though, they did mine, even though it was just cosmetic damage. That plastic cost's a fortune you know, especially when insurance companys have to go through Honda for replacement parts.
Maybe source the parts yourself and do the fitting to keep cost down?

Re: pcx 125
Me thinks this right here is what gets you a new bike. Way to dismount and slide man... thats why we wear the gear
No fixing this and a new case isn't going to be something practical to swap out. New bike for you buddy.

Accidents happen, takes two
Bikes can be repaired
Prejudices can't
Why did you point it out that the other party was a female.

Re: pcx 125
Well it really doesn't matter if he mentions in passing that the driver was a female. And really now, would it be prejudice if I mentioned that a 90 year old drove into a crowd and killed some of them, or would it just be reporting the incident? That particular thing has happened multiple times in the United States within the last year. Describing the participants is just part of the story.

Funny world, if you are a feminist you could be accused of prejudice if you left her gender out of the story.you you wrote:Bikes can be repaired

Doesn't matter either way, but it did describe the incident correctly.

Holy crap Averzun! Good thing you were wearing your gear - that pic of your poor PCX with parts scattered everywhere is scary. That crazy lady should have her license suspended/revoked - you could easily have been killed or severely injured - glad to hear you're okay.

Re: pcx 125
Although I don't have them yet, another good reason to have a front view and possibly rear view camera these days. Can't trust others to tell the truth (more often they or their insurance will lie or wrangle out of things) and at least then you have proof of what happened and maybe evidence of their licence plate.

Re: pcx 125
In this particular case, I am not sure that a dash cam would have picked it up unless it had a wide angle lens and was on your chest. The drive clipped his handlebar. How does one record that? I would have to scratch my head on that one.

That's balanced, have you thought of joining the judiciary? They are missing out as are we.
